My fiance and I, after reading these reviews and looking at the website for the wine cellar, decided to make it a "must" on our recent trip to Jacksonville 6/13/08 to 6/16/08. I made reservations for 7;30 p.m. on Friday night, and requested to sit outside in their garden dining area. Well, the only thing that was a slight dissappointment... more

This place is a hidden oasis: dark woods walls, tiled floors, small secluded dining rooms as well as open larger ones and an extensive well chosen wine selection beautifully displayed for perusal thoughout the entranceway. At first glance the menu selections appear typical continental fare, but after perusing descriptions one realizes that this is numerous steps above that. Our party... more

The Wine Cellar is a real find. We were in a large group, and the restaurant met our needs beautifully. We especially enjoyed the Ahi tuna and the chocolate torte. Food, wine and service were comparable to some of San Francisco’s better restaurants – quite unexpected in Jacksonville! more
