Glad we finally stopped in!

Went there this past Sunday, April 26 for breakfast after driving by this place for a year thinking it was more of a bagel stop..... and why did we wait! This place is a nice casual southern diner type restaurant with great food and great service. We had two young servers that were very great... read more

We arrived a bit after 9 am and the place was full. Try and get there early as it does fill up fast. Great service. Nothing fancy but good food and nice place to eat. Waffle was good, cinnamon roll was tasty and biscuits and gravy was good. Service was good but again this place is busy on the weekends... More

This place has great reviews so we tried it. If you don't want your omelet fluffy, like your home fries greasy as well as the veggies in your omelet then you would like this place. The service was good and friendly. But don't be in a rush. IHOP is better. There are lots of places in Jax that are better... More

Can't find anything wrong with this place. Food was good. My kids enjoyed their pancakes and bacon also. We were looking forward to try some of their deserts but most on the desert board were not available. I guess we will try again next time.

Stopped in for breakfast at 10 am on a Saturday morning. The place is rather small for a popular cafe. Enjoyed the coffee, scrambled eggs, wheat toast, cheese grits, and slices of bacon. The food overall is quite tasty. It's a mom-and-pop restaurant; they treat you like a guest in their home. The service was excellent. Will return soon.

This was our first visit to the Bayard Cafe, but it won't be our last. I had the quiche and my wife had the cheese omelet. Both were excellent. The service was also superb.

We stopped on our way North and wish we had found this cafe earlier as it is only 20 minutes or less from St. Augustine. Fantastic service and fresh, hot delicious food! Huge variety for all tastes.

We spotted this little place on our way to Jax & stopped on our way back to St. A. The other reviewers that named it a hidden gem were right. I had the crab cakes eggs Benedict (yum!), my husband had the turkey bacon wrap with honey mustard sauce to dip it in (great flavor!), & my daughter had the... More

Glad we found a great taste of local hospitality and flavor. Be sure to stay for the dessert! Worth a little gas to venture here.
