Small but sensible location in addition to ample portions of fresh Thai food makes this place worthwhile. Not a "wow!" kind of place, but better than most other Thai joints.
We were in town for a few days visiting Jacksonville University. After a long day of appointments we wanted a nice relaxing place to eat. Cynthia looked on TA and found Mai Thai. It was about 30 miles from where we were staying but decided to go anyway. First, let me say, don't let the look of the outside fool... More
My wife and I have been to Mai Thai several times in the last few months, and we are in LOVE with the incredible food. Every dish is a feast for the eyes, nose and palate. The Chef(s) are amazing for the cuisine prep and speed. The service is not great, I think its because this place is so busy,... More
I’m one of those that normally do not care much for Thai cuisine but Mai Thai is an exception. Saturday night, for the third time, I went to Mai Thai with family and friends (six of us) for dinner. And for the third time, I was more than satisfied with the meal, the décor and with the service. Not so... More
This is a very elegant little place but you'd never tell by looking. It's in a small strip mall near a large Publix Supermarket. This was our second dining experience here and it was a very good one. My wife and I are both Thai veterans but for this lunch we took our son and his family along. They were... More
Just found this restaurant last week and have already eaten their twice! FRESH veggies and meat in everything. Everything is cooked to order so it is not a problem for them to omit or substitute something. Extremely clean with fast friendly service. Prices reasonable. Plan to eat here again and again and again.......
This was my first time going to this restaurant.and I was very impressed and satisfied. for two people with apps, two drinks and entrees it was $52. Everything looked so fresh and colorful and the taste matched the presentation. Staff was great, cute spot and very comfortable.
From the outside, it is a storefront in a strip mall. When you walk inside, it is nicely decorated, with wall mounted fish tanks. The lunch menu includes a salad or soup and a spring roll. The descriptions of the dishes are accurate. Drunken noodles with chicken was delicious, and the heat was just right for me ( after discussing... More
This was our first time to this Thai restaurant in Jacksonville, FL and we really enjoyed the dishes that we ordered. The freshness of the ingredients and the flavors of the sauces were excellent. I ordered the steak salad and my wife ordered the Pad Ma Keur (sauteed eggplant with jumbo shrimp, chicken, pork and basil in ginger sauce). FYI... More
My sister and nephew took me here a few times. I am going back again and again while in Jacksonville. Very good Tom Yum soup (spicy) although veggies could be cut a little smaller. I like the fact that they add celery to it! The Beef Salad at lunch is plentiful and spicy. Newphew said best Pad Thai. I highly... More
