Yes, it's in Springfield. Yes, there are some scary places nearby. Yes, you might see a homeless person within a block or two. No, your car windows won't be broken when you get back to it, and you won't get mugged walking across the street. My wife and I have been there on Saturday mornings and late at night... never... Decided to head here after seeing reviews. Location seems a bit sketchy, but once inside, you feel cozy and at home. Service was excellent. The baristas were pleasant and informative. They let you sit and bring your food/coffee out to you. There are couches you can sit on, or traditional table and chairs. There's a tv and some old checker... More

This is a wonderful place that secretly exists in not such a great looking part of Jacksonville . It takes you by surprise when you walk in with its warm inviting atmosphere that resembles walking into someone's own living room. It is a great place to hang out or study, they have wifi, food, delish desserts, great coffee, wine bar,... More

One of the great 3 layers experiences is to rock up on Thursday night and listen to the range of eclectic open mike music. Have a beer or a glass of wine and chill to some great (and sometimes, well, OK) sounds

OMFG...After hearing about this place ad infinitum, I finally got to experience Three Layers for myself. What a treat!!! We came for coffee and a treat and man was it ever!!! First there's Bugsy and friend, the resident greeters! Four enormous furry ears up for them! Beyond sweet and beyond adorable, even hopped up on our table for some one-on-one... More

Great cafe\coffeehouse\wine bar in historic Springfield, downtown Jax. Great energy, friendly staff, and great food. The desserts absolutely rock! Cakes are ridiculous and the Jeff Square is unbelievable. Comfortable space to relax, visit, or work. Beautiful Zen garden in the back, complete with Bugsy the bunny.

I love this place. The coffee is great, the wine and beer are pretty good too. The staff is absolutely the best! Always friendly and helpful. And of course there's the zen garden out back, which is the domain of Buggsy the Bunny. A beer and a bunny can brighten just about any day.

This place is amazing. A perfect oasis in the middle of spring field. This neighborhood is absolutely on the rise and this coffee house is a perfect example of where it is headed. The people are friendly and the coffee is wonderful, always fresh and has a fantastic flavor. Plus, there's a bunny in the back in the garden. Try... More
