Great atmosphere, Kiley and Sam Effron amazing wife and husband team along with their professional staff! Food, service, wine and cocktail selections are over the top. You can easily see a great group of people all working together to create a memorable experience. Make sure you say hi to "Brian" and order a Ferrari cocktail! ❤️ Arrivederci!!

We came here for a "second dinner" after an earlier meal left us hungry. We started off with some charcuterie. We got two cheeses, Humboldt Fog and Manchego, and two double orders of meats, proscuitto and, I think, salami. The honey the plate came with may have been my favorite thing, but it came with some other extras as well:... More

This is a very good restaurant. Certainly on top of gluten free. We started as usual....two glasses of Prosecco and we were not disappointed. Shared the caprese as a starter which was quite nice. Then for our mains....half smoked chicken and the seafood medley....both deserve a repeat order. And then the finale......butterscotch pudding....super! Too bad we found this restaurant on... More

First time visit to Taverna. Our waiter was outstanding, the atmosphere was very pleasant but the food was disappointing. Out of our party of 5, only 2 enjoyed their meal and 1 was a grilled chicken salad (hard to mess up). Seems the menu worked hard to make sure some of the traditional named dishes were not prepared anything close... More

Taverna has to be one of our favorite spots in town to have dinner. A lot of it has to do with their menu and the quality of the food. The atmosphere is great, lighting is just right and the servers are knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable, too. Highly recommend Taverna.

I've been to Italy and Jacksonville is very lucky to have Taverna in town. The restaurant itself is hip and very comfortable. Modern italian! The pizza is simply perfect italian crust with the freshest hand made cheese and toppings. The best italian I've had in Florida. Yes really. If you think Pizza Hut is great pizza please skip this place... More

This restaurant serves very good pizzas, although it is not a pizza place they are very good. Their entrees are also very good and priced accordingly. The atmosphere is great and the service is excellent. Their Monday special is an personal size pizza and a beer for $15.

I have visited twice. Once for brunch and the other for dinner. Both times I felt leaving the food was good but was overpriced. For dinner, I ordered the homemade ravioli. The full dinner portion had 8 ravioli and was over $22! The ravioli were the size of a half dollar so you didn't get much for the amount they... More

Taverna is a very good Italian restaurant that imposters as a Spanish kitchen, (or so I felt). Everything about the place reminds me of some of the better Spanish places in which I've dined. The interior is an interesting fusion between modern (with electronic menus up front) to provincial-era Spanish, with the rough-hewn beams exposed throughout the dining area. We... More

The highlight of my recent trip to Jacksonville, FL (my first and likely last trip there) was dinner at Taverna! I had the scallops. They were perfectly cooked, as was the risoto! The server did a PERFECT service. The atmosphere was beautiful and comfortable. Highly recommended!
