I don't know where to start.. How about the place. It's a dive. It's a small quaint place with 12-16 tables and bar top seating. You can watch Ted back there cooking up a storm. They keep fresh local beers on tap, and the service is the absolute best in town. Yeah, they don't put the napkin in your lap... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants!! The seafood specials are excellent. The tuna is cooked perfectly, the chowder served in a pot is delicious and Chowder Ted's has the best french fries I have ever eaten :).

Great food with a great atmosphere. Kind of tucked away, but it was awesome. 10/10 would eat here again.

Found this place when researching places to eat in Jacksonville for a family weekend! Picked up my family at the airport and headed for Ted's. The place is nothing special but the food was delicious and Ted and company are fun folks. The grouper sandwich was one of the best I have had in a while and I live in... More

This is one of two places that I will visit when anywhere near jaxport. They only take cash. The seafood is fresh and cones in good portion sizes.

My son and I came for lunch. The place is a shack so if you are upscale or pretentious, it may not be for you. Every single thing we ordered was nothing short of delicious. We tried the chowder and it was like no chowder I have had, red broth with fish and seafood, potatoes and carrot and celery. YUM!... More

Saw this on trip advisor, was looking for a seafood restaurant and this one caught my eye. Was not expecting what I got, small place, only 3 people working it,only had like 5 tables and a bar. But the food was great had the blackened Mahi-mahi sandwich, superb. Wasn't all that pleased with the chowder but I'm more of a... More

We make it a point to visit here every year. The chowder is terrific, one of the best you will ever have, but make sure you get there early because they run out. My wife considers their chowder as her favorite anywhere. Worth the drive, very friendly service and very affordable. Perfect for lunch.

We decided to go here based on reviews. We drove right by the first time. It is very unassuming and looks like an old empty building. We ordered 1/2 pot if soup to share (which I assumed was a cup) it was actually a cooking pot. It was out if this world. A red chowder with veggies, scallops, crawfish, ect.... More

This place is very tiny and doesn't look like they are even open, except for all the locals. I had the special, which was blackened tuna steak on spring mix salad. It was fantastic and the bill was amazingly cheap. Staff was very friendly and personable. Just bring cash because they are not setup for credit cards. Highly recommended!
