I have been coming to the German Schnitzel Haus for over 8 years from when it was at its old location. The food has always been so so. Good but not great. An average overall experience. The people have always been nice which is one of their strengths. The food was close to my experience in... read more

I love schnitzel and they used to have the best and comparable to what you would fine in Germany. Maybe we were there on an off day but service was extremely slow, when the food finally came out 40 minutes later, the schnitzel was dry, the cabbage was cooked to mush and the potatoes cold and gooey.

We just visited this establishment with our friends and left with mixed emotions. Some aspects of our visit were great, some were bad. The server was very good, very helpful and very accommodating. She also provided excellent recommendations. The beer selection is very nice albeit somewhat pricey outside of the happy hour. We started with a plate of mixed sausages,... More

Tue night we went with friends who suggested this restaurant. Not only was my friend embarrassed. But we will never go back and we will tell people not to waste their time and $$ because it was very over price. The food was awful. The service was slow and the menu was over priced. Very disappointing.

The German food here is pretty authentic. German food, like most ethnic food, is regional in taste. The German food here is from the south-central region. Its not the Bavarian or even Hessen food most people associate with German. It is still great and the staff will go out of their way to make you happy. I think they have... More

I love German Restaurants. I have been to Germany and grew up with family that is from germany. I always ask for seconds on red cabbage and spaetzle. I could only choke down one bite on each. It was a shame to throw all the food out but it was nor palatable. I never have had bad food at a... More

I am a German lady from north Germany. My daughter loves German food and it was her birthday. I have never had this kind of slop. The cucumber salad was just sliced cucumbers. No salt, vinegar-nothing. The Spaetzle were overcooked spiral noodles with sauer creme slopped on them. OMG!!! The service was slow. Take my advice. STAY AWAY. My little... More

My family dined here for the first time Saturday evening. Although the restaurant was not full from the moment we walked in service was very slow. The hostess left us standing several minutes than told to sit down and wait although frankly no visible rush seemed to be occurring. That set the pattern for the entire meal - drinks and... More

We used to come to this restaurant quite a bit and drove over an hour to get here because the German food was really good. We go to Germany quite often and our friends who eat here with us lived there for several years so we love to have the opportunity to reminisce with wonderful food. That was then and... More

Went for lunch recently and the food has really gone down hill. It was prepared at another time and just re-heated. The bratwurst was disgusting and the sauerkraut tasted like it was out of a can. I can no longer recommend the place unless you're just going for the bar. Cannot believe a professional chef would let that cr_p leave... More
