My friend and I went to this restaurant on July 27, 2014. We got there about 8 p.m. While we were waiting for our meals, one of the waitresses started moping the floor. We were the only ones in there at the time. We watched the waitress used the same mop that she used in the restrooms to mop the... More

I wanted to try a Thai restaurant and this was the best rated in Jacksonville for good reason. I started with the Green Papaya Sampler Appitizer. Some samplers can be small, but this was enough for a meal. It came with two thai egg rolls, two coconut shrimp, two crab rangoons, two chicken satay, (large pieces), one fresh spring roll,... More

Let me just say..we are picky eaters especially when it comes to thai..we love fresh good cuisine. This place delivered..mango spring rolls..were not fried and delish. We ordered the special basil fried rice, chicken fried rice, tofu red curry, spring rolls and the chicken satay. Every dish amazing..and service was quick. My husband and I were on our way to Amelia Island and stopped for the night close to the Jacksonville Airport. We read reviews on nearby restaurants and decided to have dinner at the Green Papaya. We made an excellent choice. The food was delicious and the service was exemplary! Our server, Veronica, was delightful. We enjoyed the entire experience... More

My son and I made plans to eat at the Green Papaya based on the terrific reviews we read, even diverting our road trip by an hour to enjoy Thai food. While the service is great and the restaurant clean and attractive the food is not authentically Thai as based on our experience of travelling to Thailand annually since 2007.... More

I had cashew nut tofu with veg spring rolls medium spicy it was fresh and delectable. The fried tofu was my favorite. The calamari was excellent - my only concern was service but they were really busy and they just opened so I gave them a pass Tip Lunch ends at 2:30

The food is great. The staff are pleasant and very attentive. They appear happy to work in the restaurant, and they are enthusiastic about helping the customers. We ordered a curry dish asking for it to be mild. We got it mild, and it tasted great. The ambience is auite upscale. The cheff/owner came out to see how we liked... More

. . . dedicated to the success of their restaurant is what I saw. On our overnight stay in Jacksonville, my wife and I might have eaten at one of the corporate restaurants that dot the shopping malls and freeway interchange across the land - restaurants you have been in hundreds of times at hundreds of locations, and you have...
