Lawan has always been consistent with their food and service. We always get the same order....Thai tea, spring rolls (so yummy!), and Massam Curry (do not think I spelled that right!). There is a young lady who works there (sorry I do not know the name) who is aways so welcoming and friendly. I would recommend giving Lawan a try.... More

The unfortunate thing about Thai food is that too many people don't know what it is. They assume it's like Chinese but that is the farthest from true. The food is great, the flavors are wonderful. The place seem never to be crowded, unfortunately for them because the meals are wonderful.

Good solid thai food. Another jewel for Patchogue. Closed on Tuesday. Quiet atmosphere, good place for a quiet lunch or dinner.

This restaurant is a gem right on Main Street in Patchogue. I've never had a meal that I didn't love here. Top picks are the papaya salad, the roasted duck, all the currys, and either mango with sticky rice or the fried ice cream for dessert. This restaurant is worth the trip!

I loved this restaurant 3 years ago. Now food is bland.. Pad Tai no vegetables, very little peanut, but drowned in sauce... Very disappointed! Service poor, wait staff don't know menu. Ased for shrimp dish, served chicken. Try someplace else.

We don't go there often ,but the waitstaff always remember us, and "our" table. The food is always fresh --and it is reasonably priced. We usally go for an early dinner. My daughter lives in the city and compares Lawan favorably to theThai restaurants in her neighborhood. For a place in the "boonies" it's a welcome surprise.

The food here is extremely bland. The jasmine rice (which does not come with the meal, you have to order it a la carte) is almost always undercooked. The peanut sauce for the chicken satays packs no wallup, the basil chicken is nearly flavorless and the Penang curry tastes like cocoanut and no curry. What a disappointment.

Delicious, fresh food. Consistant. Nice atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff. Get a table in front of the window and call for reservations.
