I have to say, because of location, the parking is horrendous. The food, however, is worth that inconvenience. I love their seafood dishes (with bulgar) and spinach pie. Red lentil soup is phenomenal. The restaurant itself is very small so arrive early or expect a wait.

Excellent Food!!! Gyros are really good, as are the Turkish cigars and humus with pita.. It's very yummy!!! Haven't eaten in the restaurant yet, but take-out was good and the food was ready pretty quickly!!

Where to start ? Parking is terrible. It's always like they're in a hurry to do nothing inside. If you eat in, its a hurry to take your order & then a wait to get it. If you take out, they say 20 min & then they ignore you after you get there & you wait another 20 min. They... More

Not the most prepossessing approach when you arrive to find the P from Pita House is missing. It's a rather grim strip shopping center location but once inside, it's pleasant enough. Friendly service. Wide ranging menu. The gyro was well done, filled with flavorful lamb, feta and salad. We also took out an order of fried chicken livers and a... More

Outstanding baba ganoush and falafel. Wish I'd been in the vicinity longer so I could've returned and tried more items on the menu.

This is a great place. I have eaten here several times and the food is always delicious. The portions are large which is great! I've ordered almost everything off their menu and am always pleased. Great fast service as well. You can sit down or order out. There is usually no wait.

I love the food and service isnt bad either. You can either get your food to go or eat in. I go for lunch and love the combos. Good prices too. Thsi place is never overcrowded and if i decide to eat in i never have to wait for a table.

As folks make their way east from Manhattan to The Hamptons along the infamous Long Island Expressway, there comes an area where interesting restaurants with good cuisine disappear. But for a small group of foodies, The Pita House, several miles south of the LIE in a nondescript small strip shopping mall draws them. For eighteen years, those in the know... More
