Great location-atmosphere is NYC style-Open rafters-bar on one side divided by what appears to be huge garage doors with a door within through which you enter the restaurant from the divided bar area(Outstanding design!!) we sat by the window (removable/retractable for outside eating area) The service was excellent-friendly/timely. My Burger was the Best (Cooked to order-perfectly) ordered additional topping of... More

My father & I had theater tickets & decided to try this restaurant. When we walked in, we were greeted by the pleasant hostess & was sat right away. We ordered the fried mozzarella for an app & there was a huge long piece of hair fried into it.... Disgusting.... I called over the lady(not the server... Who was not... More

My bf & i stopped in here on friday as we often do. We had reservations but decided to just sit at the bar, as there was plenty of room. This is the first time we had the meatball flatbread- to. die. for. This is a MUST. Calamari, well, i find it to bee too floury, like the batter/coating isnt... More

There was four of us who had dinner at this restaurant. The staff was very nice, did not have a big selection of entrees for dinner. I had prime hamburger with blue cheese, it was not that tasty, it came with fries which was very good. Others at the table had phillycheese steak and the same prime hamburger and all... More

Definitely enjoyed a weeknight Restaurant Week meal at Public House 49. We arrived early so the place was empty but very nicely decorated with a clean, modern feel. We perused both the regular menu and the Restaurant Week menu which offered several appealing choices. I enjoyed an organic green salad which was fresh with apple, cranberries, almonds, manchego cheese and... More

How do you rate a place where the bread tasted stale, the salad was just lettuce but the entrees were delicious? I guess the difference between the good and the bad brings us to average although I would go back for the main dish. My friends had hamburgers which were cooked the way they liked and I had the flatbread... More

I went with a group of friends (6 total) on a Saturday night. The service was awful. We were left a few times with nothing to drink. The waiter was running around & was busy but he couldn't find the time to get back to us. The food was ok. A lot of strange things on the menu & both... More

Went with husband. Food was so bland, had to pour salt and pepper on it. Service was fine. Nothing of a menu. Chalked it up to trying a newer place to us.
