Good Food in a Quiet Comfortable Setting

My husband and I have eaten at Pascal's for many years, through two ownership changes, and have found it much improved over time. The restaurant is clean, the menu is diverse, and the food is freshly prepared and tasty. If you are in a hurry, you can grab a cup of coffee and a fresh pastry and be... read more

If your craving for a relaxed laid back spot for breakfast or lunch this is for you. Easting inside of outside at umbrelled tables it is a ral tray. Breakfast goodies and luncheon specialties are their fare. I had a ham and swiss on a soft french roll that was out of this world. My partner savored a quiche that... More

I eat there from time to time, and everyone is always friendly. They are one of the relatively few places that serves breakfast all day, and since I like eggs for lunch i appreciate it. One thing that is important to me is that they cook their own turkey, without salt, and since I am on a low-sodium diet it... More

The owners changes again within the last year or two and it's gone downhill. No longer are there the yummy baked items. We got the pork sandwich we'd always get over the years and it was not as good as it used to be with ingrediants that had changed (plain mustard vs a nice grainy one). We'll continue to stop... We stopped of on a journey South and stopped off in the hope of finding somewhere for lunch. We happened across Pascals. There's a car park adjacent, but it's shared with other businesses. There's a selection of outside eating, which was unfortunately full on our arrival. It's a popular place and we had to queue to order at the counter.... More

My husband and I have been dining at Pascal French Oven Restaurant for many years and through several owners. We recently stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed dining on the outdoor porch. The menu hasn't changed much over the years and I always enjoy the homemade soups they offer daily. They often have the soup ready in time to serve... More

Interesting that when I returned the wrong soup-the lady said to keep it and she would bring me the correct one. The male jumped at this and took the small bowl of soup to "dispose of." Bet anything it went back in the main pot in the kitchen. Cheesy---cheap---belongs in Fremont or Hayward---not Danville.

I dropped by with the family on a Sunday morning. The location and atmosphere was excellent. We also appreciated the friendly staff and overall the service was great. The food was average to a bit disappointing. The french toast was not as thick as I like and the hash brown was average. The omelet was pretty good but didn't particularly... More

We usually stop at Pascal's as a part of our weekend bike ride route. It was also a great place to meet-up with friends over a more casual breakfast atmosphere. But the food quality and quantity is just okay for the price they charge.
