We have enjoyed the extraordinary fresh creations from Chef Sebatian and his staff for years. We consider Piatti's as our daytime "kitchen" during the week. All of their team makes you feel as if you are visiting their home. The bar is hosted by Norberto, who is one of the best in the business. Enjoy!

Disappointed in dinner. For italian, the two pasta dishes we had were barely ok. The salad swimming in dressing. Sorry note when the best part of the dinner was the balsamic gelato which was to die for.

Was my favorite restaurant over the last 20 years, but the quality of food, menu selections, waiter service has gone down hill very fast. The restaurant was purchased by another group and no more delicious fire grilled shrimp, chicken breast, bread, toast, etc. The food choices are minimal and clearly precooked chicken from packages, pre molded burger patties, and nothing... Dined here our first evening in town. I had the pasta bolognese and didn't enjoy it. Second evening I went with the spinach salad and margherita pizza - amazing meal I won't forget.

My wife and I recently had lunch at Piatti's. The salad was fresh, the tomatoes tasted like they were picked from the garden that morning and my veggie panini was fantastic! The service was professional, friendly and very helpful with menu selections. We'll definitely be going back.

They were very quick to seat us without reservations. And the house was packed! The food came out quickly and it was great. A little pricy for what you get, but delicious. Service with a smile too. :O)

Piatti Danville is easily accessed from the freeway and there is plenty of parking available. Went for a weekend lunch. The seating area closest to the entrance is bright and airy with view of the bar and open kitchen. Another section is not as bright but is also less trafficked. There is a decent-sized patio area with umbrellas to enjoy... More

I have been dining at Piatti since it opened...can't remember when...and it is always very consistent in terms of both service and the quality of the food. A very high energy place.

Excellent for lunch and dinner. Eating on the patio in the summer is a wonderful atmosphere and the salads are very good. Dining in the room with the fireplace during the winter is a warm and cozy environment. If you eat in the main dining area, be prepared for a noisy meal, making it a little difficult to have quiet... In a beautiful area sits this wonderful restaurant. The food and the wine is relaxed, simple and outstanding. Just a great place to go, on all counts
