Esin has been a neighborhood jewel since opening in 1998. The name Esin is not only the name of one of the owners but also means “inspiration”. The food is the passion of Chef & Owners Curtis and Esin deCarion. They strive to create cuisine that is fresh, seasonal, and prepared with great care. The fare is American with bits of Mediterranean influences. The wine list has been recognized by Wine Spectator & Wine Enthusiast magazines. Esin Restaurant & Bar relocated in July of 2008 to the Newest upscale lifestyle center The Rose Garden in Danville. The freshly designed dining room offers warm and comforting tones. Be sure to save room for one of Esin’s fresh made desserts that have become so well known.

Great waiter - Good not great food

Service was excellent; our waiter was one of the best I can remember. He actually brought things we wanted just as we were about to ask (i,e more butter and drink refills for he kids). The food was good but not exceptional. My lamb chops were the smallest I ever had. I've rack of lamb where the... read more

We enjoy special occasion dinners at Café Esin several times a year. Our latest visit was on par with other visits; excellent food and service! We decided on the zucchini fritters for something different to start; they are wonderful and packed with LOTS of zucchini (sorry I forgot to take a picture of our starter)! I had the salmon special... More

Cafe Esin is a Danville must. Food is locally sourced and is always excellent as is the service. Their pastries are to die for!

I had the Grilled Mary's Natural Chicken Breast salad and it was very tasty and fresh. The portion was adequate. The Buttermilk Fried Mary's Chicken Sandwich was ordered and that was very delightful as well. Service was good, and the noise level was fine. I would go back to try some other items on the menu.

Great lunch & family get together. Risottos were a hit, pasta special was awesome too. Hangar steak cooked to perfection, fries were perfectly seasoned. Good wine list and cocktails. Flights available too. Service was attentive and unobtrusive.

My husband and I rarely go out just the two of us because our tastes are simple and we cook at home. But for our Wedding Anniversary we treated ourselves. Esin was The perfect place for this occasion. We were treated like royalty even though it was our first time dining with them.

We ate here on a Monday night thanks to the Trip Advisor reviews. It was kind of hard to find seeing as they don't allow decent sized signs in the area but we finally found the place. I had the Filo Wrapped Mary’s Natural Chicken Breast which was unlike anything I've ever had before, it had a few kinds of... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor and was happy I did. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had chicken wrapped in Filo dough and I had pan roasted halibut. Dinner was excellent. We had an appetizer, 1 glass if wine each and entrees. It was 95$ plus tip. Pretty expensive but quite excellent.

Our good friend had suggested ESIN for dinner as he had been there for dinner and neither his wife nor we had. The restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. I had their fixed price dinner as it sounded really good. I started with the salad that had apples, blue cheese, walnuts, and a balsamic vinaigrette. It was outstanding. I then... More
