Description: Esin has been a neighborhood jewel since opening in 1998. The name Esin is not only the name of one of the owners but also means “inspiration”. The food is the passion of Chef & Owners Curtis and Esin deCarion. They strive to create cuisine that is fresh, seasonal, and prepared with great care. The fare is American with bits of Mediterranean influences. The wine list has been recognized by Wine Spectator & Wine Enthusiast magazines. Esin Restaurant & Bar relocated in July of 2008 to the Newest upscale lifestyle center The Rose Garden in Danville. The freshly designed dining room offers warm and comforting tones. Be sure to save room for one of Esin’s fresh made desserts that have become so well known.

The restaurant was busy, lively and energetic. The server was very polite and attentive. She shared many great suggestions for both entree and beers. She seemed very knowledgeable. Great date night with my husband. Definitely not a kid place so we felt like we really escaped. It was upscale but not uptight. My salmon was perfectly prepared and amazing flavor... More

We have eaten at Esin since they first opened in their former location in San Ramon. Year in and year out when visiting family in Danville, our meals at Esin have been superlative. The menu, the food itself, the service, and lovely restaurant, as well as the gracious owners and fabulous staff have contributed to very special lunches and dinners.... More

Went here for my sweetheart's birthday, and it was totally the right call. Impeccable service, and the food was wonderful, too. The hanger steak and frites were perfect. And this place is known for its desserts--with good reason. Perfect for a birthday! Nice atmosphere, but appears to be quite popular (at least on a Saturday night), so probably best to... More

Spousal Team owned not a franchise, and very, very tasty, a local fave on both accounts. Unique and fusion and upscale cuisine. Try for yourself, Rose shopping center is fun, small and quaint. Gives Rodney a run for his money for his three places too. Good!

Okay, of all the places one could eat in Danville, this is the one we chose for the pre-wedding day luncheon with my son's fiancee. The menu is diverse, but the best part is their quality ingredients and attention to detail. I had the Cobb salad and was delighted by the red, ripe, juicy tomatoes and ripe avocado and the... More

We've been enjoying the fine dining at Cafe Esin for many, many years. Always have had a wonderful dinner. Consistent, quality, warm and inviting atmosphere. And if you can try one of their desserts. Highly recommend for a date night or with friends.

Friends recommended Esin, and we had a good lunch and a better dessert. Restaurant is nice and comfortable. Service was good. Fish dishes were good, and my chocolate dessert was the best. We are not regulars to Danville, but we would come back.

Having recently been in California on holiday with friends who live in Danville, they recommended we eat at Cafe Esin one evening, they had been several times before and thought I would enjoy the food. I came away thinking that if I lived in Danville I would be visiting this restaurant fairly often - excellent! Great service, we sat outside... More

One of our favorite restaurants in Danville. We used to go to Café Esin when it was in its old location in San Ramon. They have not lost anything since the move, and have maintained the comfortable ambiance, great service and stellar food!
