Very Nice Lunch

Mid afternoon, I decided I hadn't done enough with just a mushy card for Valentine's Day. So we went to a place we'd been before that was close to our home. We arrived at about 3pm, and it was fairly crowded on the terrace over looking the duck pond- river in Blackhawk Plaza. Our order took a bit... read more

Servers had sections that were too big, appeared poorly defined. Servers all very kind and professional though, just stretched too thin! Terrible table-maintenance, drink refills always had to be asked for. Calamari soggy and in dire need of salt. Pear quesadilla was ok (cinnamon possibly?). Blackhawk salad good, BLTA's ordered at table were good. Overall, a nice place, just in... More

We had lunch recently and we were disappointed. The clam chowder was rubbery and salty, the Quiche Loraine was awful and the salmon sandwich (a recommended favorite) had a bitter taste which we surmised was the cole slaw. The Quiche was dry like it had been sitting all morning and it had no crust. The waiter saw we were disappointed... More

This small cafe was an excellent find - fun menu, friendly staff, good view and dog friendly. We will definitely go back next time we are in Danville.

This is a small restaurant with a limited menu, but all very tasty. What's more important to me, is the wonderful wait staff. Very attentive and friendly. A local favorite.

The food is excellent, which is to be expected whenever dining at any of the Pear restaurants in Danville-Blackhawk-Alamo, but what I love most about the Little Pear is the atmosphere. It's a casual and cozy spot, perfect for an informal meeting/dining experience. Tons of natural light and situated right bext to the pond, so whether you're seated inside or... More

Been here on various occasions for different meal types of the day. The food is average and the flying insects are a very annoyance, no matter if you sit inside or outside. If you sit outside, there is a very high chance that a duck will come by looking for food.

This is the best (last minute) place to eat. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The variety of food should satisfy anyone. We got hooked on the Croque Madame, and when we wanted a change we had the Rodzilla Burger. You have to try this, best burger in the area.

The Little Pair stands out as Chef Worth's best offering. This quaint little cafe comes with exceptional outdoor seating and a small, but extremely competent menu. I have very much enjoyed each of my many experiences here and will continue to go back.

We have lived near this restaurant for nearly 5 years and never gave it a try until a couple of weeks ago. Boy, are we mad at ourselves. The food is fantastic. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is hip and awesome. We have found a new favorite restaurant.
