There are many excellent restaurants in the Bay Area but Peasant and Pear is my hands down favorite on this side of the Bay. The atmosphere is cozy, food is consistently top quality and the menu varied to insure seasonal freshness. When the weather starts to cool down, I HAVE to have the fondue. It's over the top delicious. You... More

Returning from a weekend spent with friends, it was our 29th wedding anniversary and we had not made any real plans to celebrate except to stop on the way home for a nice meal…somewhere. As it happened, we took the 680 freeway north through Danville and chose to stop because of the restaurant's interesting name. We weren't in formal attire,... More

Same wonderful food and a VERY good price. Try to get patio seating if the weather is nice. What a treat!

This restaurant has a patio that is really nice, the food is really good and reasonably priced. The portions were very large, We had the Prime Rib Dip and there was enough for both lunch and dinner! The Smoked chicken Salad sandwich was also very good! I would totally recommend this place!

We went to this restaurant based on the great reviews it has received on Tripadvisor and also because the courtyard looked very inviting and quaint. The atmosphere is very nice and the food is very good. The service staff were very kind and attentive. The only gripe (but a big one) that we had was it took a ridiculously long... More

Heard great things but after dining was left confused. Clueless service, a menu that is mediocre and out of date. Rodzilla burger. Really

Had a dinner out with friends. Heard a lot about this restaurant. It was close to where they lived. Glad we made reservations because it was already busy at 6 pm. Seated promptly. Appetizers: Large Caesar salad (anchovies on the side if desired) and Burrata cheese on Crostini with an Apricot on top. Very fresh. Paella; Bistro Steak very nicely... More
