At Chow, we only use organic produce. We are proud to use products from local vendors and to use those products to make everything in house. Our Danville location has a bakery kitchen that makes all the fresh produce and then sends it to each of our locations. If you love our jams, salad dressings or anything else, please note that our Lafayette location has a Farmers’ Market with these products. You can now add Chow’s Cooking to your Home Cooking! Enjoy!

Waay Overpriced Meteocre Food for the Libtard Crowd

The food here absolutely sucks for what it is. They are catering to high end envirtotards and Libtards and not doing a very good job at it. $18 for a crappy little Hamburger??? Really??? Should have left the place as a Blockbuster Video as it was prior to becoming Chows. Save your money - many... read more

Always enjoyable, particularly when new menu items are added. The standby burger is always a favorite, along with the fish and chicken dishes. Salad entrees are a little on the small side, even with added chicken. Wait staff is great, and the drinks move well.

We stopped of for lunch at another restaurant however it was packed solid, so we went here. It was a nice lunch with nice surroundings, the service was good and the meals hot.

I haven't been to this restaurant for several years but thought it was time to try it again. It's always busy, so maybe it was better? It was still mediocre. Nothing about it was "wow".....and I definitely won't be giving it a third chance.

We had lunch there last week. All of our entrees were very good. The spinach salad was excellent. The table service was very slow and at times non existent. They just do not have enough employees waiting on tables.

I love coming here after a play at the Village Theatre. Not much stays open late in Danville. It's basic comfort food. Good service. Good value.

We started going to Chows in SF, then Lafayette and now Danville. A great restaurant with really good prices on food and wine. This Chows even has a full bar. The pastas are great and they have the best spinach salad I have ever had. Danville lacks for a decent, not terribly expensive restaurant that you can go to without... More

We have eaten here several times. Breakfast is fine. Supper is fair. Service is OK given the rushed business of the place. Crowded with many toddlers, and noisy, happy adults, Don't focus on the food. Focus on the contented ambiance. (Reservations accepted after 4pm nightly).

If you just want a nice meal and do not want to dress up or have peace and quiet, this is the place. I have been to Chow a half dozen times or more over the last 2 years and it is a handy place to have in town. There is a nice selection of wines and enough entrees to... More
