My husband had a dry aged cut of meat ( I cant remember exactly what) and is still talking about it ! This is... More

My wife and I went to Joseph's for our anniversary. This was our first time eating here and we were not disappointed. The dry aged 22oz. bone in cowboy ribeye was perfect. (Every steakhouse I go to messes up a medium steak but, these guys nailed it.) The steak barley soup by itself is worth eating here. My wife had... More

We like the fact at we are Old School charm. We been descripted as a old school restaurant more that once. The old time music like the old time owner is part of our old school charm. Most of our music is by Frank Sinatra and if you do not like Frank you don't like music. But the good thing... More

My wife, son and I ate here after visiting FDR's home & museum. This place is an undeniable gem. The food was amazing, the Filet Mignon was one of the 3 best pieces of steak I have had in my entire life - It comes out from the kitchen still sizzling! The service was great, our waiter was attentive and... More

We tried this steakhouse during Hudson Valley Restaurant Week and was impressed with the menu offerings. The service was excellent and the food was very good. My only complaint was that the regular menu prices were very high for this area and the parking lot adjacent to the restaurant is not paved and it was very uneven and muddy (due... More

This place is a little bit off the beaten path, that is, the main highway, and it still is one of the best steakhouses around. Recently went back and discovered it was restaurant week, so we ordered from the fixe prix menu. We both had steak beef barely soup; upgraded to the chopped salad; and for entree one had the... Just came from a disappointing meal at Joseph's. The staff could not have been more attentive or nicer, but the food was average at best. Maybe we should have stuck with steak and potatoes? We tried prime rib, lobster tail, stuffed clams, and sauerbraten. The sauerbraten was inedible and the lobster tough and tasteless. The prime rib was just okay.... More

Sorry you did not enjoy your meal. I am at the restaurant most evenings and try to ask every customer about their meal. If not to their liking I will make every attempt to please them before they leave. I am always acceptable to a customers opinion when justifiable. But when you give opinions on four different items on one... More
