Great lunch!

We stopped in here at the end of the day (3:30 or so) after seeing lots of people in line for lunch earlier in the day. But it was graduation day so a line would be expected. We just did take-out but got some delicious focaccia bread and "stuffed pretzel" which made for a delicious semi-light supper on the way... More

Cafe is a great place for lunch, an eclectic gourmet inspired menu, so don't expect burgers and fries are seasoned with black truffle salt. Even on a Monday we arrived before noon to a short wait, mostly because you give your order and pay before finding a table, the food is brought to the table. When we left the line... More

Both the dining area and the food preparation area are spotlessly clean. The CIA students do a terrific job here and the food and service are impeccable. Try the fresh pecan rolls.

This is a nice place for lunch with a varied menu and more casual than the other restaurants at the CIA. No reservations and one can order lunch, often a variety of salads or sandwiches and desserts which are lovely to look at and nice to bring home.

This is the CIA restaurant you can just stop in. Open for breakfast and lunch only. Be prepared for a line. The wait wasn't too bad, and the food was well worth it. Many interesting selections including soups, salads, and sandwiches. The desserts looked great too. They also serve beer and wine.

After touring the CIA, we decided to enjoy the fruits of the culinary student's labor at the Apple Pie Bakery Cafe. We were served very high-end foods for such a reasonable price! I enjoyed the prosciutto sandwich with truffle fries and my husband had the crab cake. For dessert, we enjoyed the 61% chocolate dessert. It was delicious! A wonderful... More

This place is a favorite and is worthy of its spot at the famous CIA. They serve breakfast and lunch and is open weekdays, and the food is superb, elegant but unpretentious. You get on line, place your order, pay and then a server brings your food. Be sure to try one of the fabulous desserts and if you love... More

No reservations needed and they serve a delicious lunch. Waitstaff is passionate about the food service industry, being student attending the CIA. Did I mention the delicious bakery items? Try the scones! Yummmm!

Disappointing for the inferred hype; perhaps I gave the CIA too much credit. Tho' we returned three times in three days (good prices for breakfast and lunch nosh) nothing was better than ok... except the soups - leek one day and split pea another. They both tasted like salty nothing... from a mix. Decent bisquits, breads, salads. Beautiful bakery products... More
