We stopped by this bakery café after having lunch at the Bocuse restaurant - both located at the Culinary Institute of America, NY. We picked up some baked good for the road and they were delicious. If this is any indication, I would suspect the lunch items they serve at the café would be a delight as well.

You can stop in here and buy fresh breads of all kinds, as well as unbelievable pastries, cookies, candies, etc. There is so much to choose from. Also, this is a great place to buy a hostess gift since they also sell candies, jams, teas, and other great gift ideas.

I would make sure not to miss the Apple pie bakery if you visit the CIA. The pastry selection is varied and expertly prepared. The service as throughout the CIA is a bit awkward but you don't expect much more from a cafe.

All sorts of flavorful hot teas and coffee. Delicious breads and pastries. This place can get quite crowded, but well worth the wait if needed. Great way to support the outstanding efforts of the culinary students. Check out the school and grounds after you finish your breakfast.

This is a very busy place, but worth the wait on line. The food is amazing. Try the quiche. You won't be sorry. It is very noisy in apple pie .

I've been to Apple Pie several times. The french fries are the best. Also, if you get there on a day that they have the lemon sourdough bread be sure to take a loaf home. My kids loved the kale ceasar salad and grilled chicken sandwich; the bread is delicious. You might have to wait in line, but it moves... More

Traditional everything NY bagels were spot on as were the donut holes for a sweet finish. The show stopper for me was the caramel creme brûlée! Simply a must. Opens at 730am.

This lunch was going to be a real adventure. Anticipation grew when we saw the CIA's impressive campus. The line to enter the cafe moved right along, with a few samples of chocolate and a chatting hostess. The showcase where we placed our order was stocked with lovely pastries. Maybe pastries, especially chocolate, show their true strength. My husband ordered... More
