We recently visited Ernie’s for breakfast and had a very nice time and meal. This is a great local lunch counter with good food and reasonable prices. We had eggs, bacon, home fries, toast and coffee - $12.00 for two people was very reasonable. Our service was very friendly, down to earth and efficient. Everything was clean and looked to... More

Absolutely the best breakfast in Gettysburg. Real potatoes and always hot. It's where the locals go-always a good sign. Great staff, great service-- a throwback to the days of true Diners! And my grandson loves their hot dogs!

My boyfriend had a texas hot dog and I had a grilled cheese. The service was good and the place was charming.

Nothing fancy just a very good home cooked breakfast of homefries, omelettes and toast and coffee right off of Lincoln Square

My son and I dropped in here for a quick bite. Sat at the counter which was fun. The shop is like stepping back into the 50's. Service was friendly and fast. My chili dog and fries were wonderful. Will definitely come back!

We loved this family owned spot! Ate fries, hot dogs, grilled cheeses and a chicken sandwich and drinks for less than $15. Everything was tasty and we loved the story behind the making of the business. We will go again next time we are in Gettysburg.

Stopped by for coffee and an English muffin. Staff was very friendly and even though I didn't eat a complete meal, their service was attentive and quick. Reminded me of the film, "The Last Picture Show".

Looks like a small diner. Nothing fancy, just quick service and a limited menu. We had the grilled cheese sandwiches, which was good. Prices were low, which must make them popular with the college crowd.

We had three hot dogs, a large basket of fries , and three waters for $13.52 so if you are looking for a good, cheap meal, this is the place. They are apparently known for their hot dogs so that's what we had. The hot dogs were fine but certainly not the best I have ever had. I can say... More

We have heard great things about this place and when we tried it we found it not to be to our tastes. I will mention we only had a lunch and never tried their breakfast menu. We just did not find the hotdogs and fries up to the quality to another restaurant in town.
