The food was great here, but the beer was less than impressive. If you like cheap, chain beer than you'll like this beer. The food was really good, and I would come back for it, just wasn't happy with the beer taste. Staff was friendly.

We loved the pretzel appetizer here. My family's burgers were extremely good. A good place to eat when in Gettysburg .

Some of my friends and myself were interested in this place. So after a Ronnie McDowell concert in Arendtsville. We decided that we would stop here for a late dinner. I and one of my friends went ahead of the gang to get a table. The table totaled 14. When I arrived it was 9:49 pm. The place is opened... More

Dry, bland, cheap food. Chili's-esque atmosphere, and service similar to what I expect from a sub-shop. So-so beer. Positive: I didn't immediately get ill from the food. Don't recommend to anyone.

We were here with friends who live in Gettysburg. We have been at the other location and this was our first time at the Gateway location. We went on a Monday around 6:15 pm and did not have to wait to get seated. Service was very good as was the food. There was a nice selection of meals on the... More

We went here with two families. The service was excellent. The food was very good. The micro brew was delicious. As we were getting ready to check out it started to storm so we decided to stay getting the four boys root beer floats and had another round of beer. We even bought growlers of beer to take with us.

We were in a great mood and wanted to love this place but walked into a dead restaurant/bar . first food ordered ( baked brie) was actually black on the outside from being burnt , we sent it back . the waitress did bring us another which was okay but be warned you get only four small slices of French... I had the wheat beer. The beer was great. There was nothing memorable about the food. The food was OK food for a pub.

My husband is a home brewer, so whenever we visit a new town we usually try to visit the local breweries. We stopped in at Appalachian Brewing Co after getting in to town. Wasn't too hungry so we ordered a flight of beers and some appetizers. The waitstaff were friendly and the food was pretty good. Their beers were great.... More
