Best Root Beer in the USA!

We've been to ABC too many times to count since moving to the area years ago and have probably tried most everything on the menu. My favs are the Cheddar Ale soup, Mile high Meatloaf & Hog Wild Pulled Pork. The various burgers are great, my daughter loves the pizza - my wife really likes the... read more

I have been here a handful of times. This inst the place for a dinner meal (the ones I had were just ok), but great burgers, pizza, wings and sandwiches. I come for the "Boo Boo" Burger. You will giggle when you order it and the ingredients sounds a little funky but it is soooooo good!. My husband almost always... More

Stopped in for an early dinner. We were seated right away. Waiter was efficient and quick. The drinks are made in house, even the sodas. The coke was pretty good, the sprite was like a weird mixture with ginger ale. The "pot of gold" cheese dip was really good. The burger was average, nothing special in my opinion.

I'd like to tell you that I had a great meal, but I can't. Why? Well, I arrived at around 7:50pm on a Friday night. They were busy, but not overly busy. There was a party of 3 people ahead of us. We were told the wait would be 25-30 minutes. That's reasonable. The hostess took our name, we moved... More

I am not a big pub fan, but will try a micro brewery from time to time. So I started with the homemade soda. I know that everyone loves the big two . I would take their cola blend any day over the big boys. I am not a big soda fan. This was made with real sugar , and... More

The hubby and I stopped for a late lunch today and we enjoyed our experience! Seated right away, our waiter Tony was great! I had the beer cheese/potato soup and the hubby had the shrimp bisque - we both loved our own and each others soup! He had the Scottish Ale and I had the White birch beer that they... More

This was our second time there. We're from out of town and our friends like to go there. It was very good and I enjoyed the beer. I got the fish and chips because of the fantastic reviews that I read, but honestly, I've had better. The fish and batter had very little flavor and was a little soggy. I'd... More

We used to visit the ABC next to the Gateway movie theater on a weekly basis. The Veg head was hands down the best thing on the menu. Once they got rid of it there was no reason to go back. On the plus side their house brewed sodas are very good.

Me and a friend stopped in here on a Monday night and the place was absolutely dead. No problem, I love having a restaurant to myself. The inside of the brewery is set up like a beer hall with high ceilings. Don't worry, the seating arrangement is more like a restaurant and not like a communal beer hall. The waitress... More

This review is for The Appalachian Brewing Company located at 70 Presidential Circle, Gettysburg PA., which is in front of the Wyndham Gettysburg hotel. We stopped for a brew and a little socializing one evening. We already had dinner elsewhere so I cannot comment on their food. I would recommend trying the beer sampler. It cost 11.00 for 8 different... More
