A great new find

I am not a big pub fan, but will try a micro brewery from time to time. So I started with the homemade soda. I know that everyone loves the big two . I would take their cola blend any day over the big boys. I am not a big soda fan. This was made with real sugar , and... read more

The hubby and I stopped for a late lunch today and we enjoyed our experience! Seated right away, our waiter Tony was great! I had the beer cheese/potato soup and the hubby had the shrimp bisque - we both loved our own and each others soup! He had the Scottish Ale and I had the White birch beer that they... More

This was our second time there. We're from out of town and our friends like to go there. It was very good and I enjoyed the beer. I got the fish and chips because of the fantastic reviews that I read, but honestly, I've had better. The fish and batter had very little flavor and was a little soggy. I'd... More

We used to visit the ABC next to the Gateway movie theater on a weekly basis. The Veg head was hands down the best thing on the menu. Once they got rid of it there was no reason to go back. On the plus side their house brewed sodas are very good.

Me and a friend stopped in here on a Monday night and the place was absolutely dead. No problem, I love having a restaurant to myself. The inside of the brewery is set up like a beer hall with high ceilings. Don't worry, the seating arrangement is more like a restaurant and not like a communal beer hall. The waitress... More

This review is for The Appalachian Brewing Company located at 70 Presidential Circle, Gettysburg PA., which is in front of the Wyndham Gettysburg hotel. We stopped for a brew and a little socializing one evening. We already had dinner elsewhere so I cannot comment on their food. I would recommend trying the beer sampler. It cost 11.00 for 8 different... More

We had great service there was only two parties in the restaurant on a Sunday night. I got the perogies which were luke warm. My husband got the burger and he thought it was fantastic. He did the beer sampler and enjoyed tasting the different beers. The service was quick. The piece of pie for $7 was so tiny. It... More

Was staying at the Quality Inn-General Lee next door. So handy to walk to the restaurant. I had the fish and chips --Yummy! I'm not much of a beer drinker but had a light wheat ale which was very good. Sad that this restaurant and the hotel next door have to go. They were a great partnership.

This restaurant is located west of downtown and sits just off the edge of a battlefield. Our party of six arrived around 5pm and the place was empty however when we left at 6:15pm it was packed. It did not appear that any beer is brewed on this site. In the bar area where we sat, there is a nice... More

Like this restaurant and would go there when in town. Always got good service and a good meal. Okay I'm partial to the "Mile High Meatloaf". However, they are right next to Lee's Headquarters and the restaurant and Quality Inn are being taken down and returned to the 1863 state. It was bought by the Civil War Trust and is... More
