Good food and beer

Friendly place, although busy on a Saturday night. We had to come back on Sunday for lunch and had no problem. The food is good. Not going to win awards, but good solid American fare.

Visiting in the Gettysburg area with friends and could not get a seat at our first choice.(6:00 on a Saturday Night,Go figure:-)) So one of our group suggested Appalachian Brewing Co.because he had had a good experience there once before.Called ahead and said we would be there in about 20 minutes. Got there, VERY crowded, but got seated right away.They... More

first the correct address is 70 Presidential Cir, Gettysburg, PA 17325 which is on the east side of town near the movie theater south east of the intersection of US 15 and US 30. The beer sampler was pretty good although I don't care for the hoppy beer styles and there were three in the sampler. Wings were so so,... More

The food was fine, if just your basic bar food, and the beer is solid (there were almost twenty beers on tap). Our bartender was fantastic as well. The downside of our experience was getting seated. We arrived at about 7:00 on a Saturday night, which is admittedly a bad time to go out for dinner, but the experience of... More

Everything was great from service to the food. I had the meatloaf and so many places use frozen. Asked Jordan our waitress Jordan who said it was made fresh every day and it was. I can always tell because frozen has dried out taste. My daughter had roasted chicken which was excellent as well. Both our dinners were huge. We... More

Unless you are staying in a hotel nearby, thus place is a bit out of the way. However, I loved my one meal here. The service was great, the bartender entertaining and a friendly crowd. The menu is varied and I had one of the flatbread pizzas. If I lived in this area, I would frequent this place often!

We stumbled upon this place on our way out of Gettysburg. We are both beer and food lovers and this place had both. All their soda and beer are their own brew. Very unique. We had their peorgies for an appetizer, delicious! Would love to go back next time we visit

We went there on our first evening in Gettysburg, just before the closing of the kitchen but if we hurried, we could still get dinner. And oh yes we did! Their meatloaf was one of the best :-) So we went back our second day, and again... mouthwatering!

We stopped here to eat at about 1:30pm for a late lunch. There were 12 people in our group, ages ranged from 4 yrs to 50. The food was very good but the service was a little slow. They were orginally going to sit us all in a large booth, which would have been a bit crowded. The waitress was... More
