You'll see lots of locals there, mostly because it's a good place to meet, eat on the cheap, and talk to friends. It's not a place to go if you're looking for good food. The food is edible, but it's not special. Best things to eat were the soups in the soup and salad bar.

We went to Dunlap's for lunch after visiting the Gettysburg sites. They have great homestyle cooking, a wide variety of soups, and a nice salad bar. My daughter loved the special beef pot pie. My wife and son enjoyed the crab burger. I had a nice fish sandwich. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable.

We found both the service and food to be quite good. Went for dinner and had the turkey, spaghetti and fried chicken. The chicken was prepared well and was crispy and moist - all 4 pieces. This is more a a family style restaurant where it appears that many of the local older residents frequent. Great lower prices if you... More

The food is awful as is the service. Place is dingy and dirty. Pay a bit more folks and go someplace nice.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. The prices were very modest ($10.18 for two breakfast specials, before tip). Our waitress, Brianna was friendly and there was free Wi-Fi. Food was only average. Bacon ordered crisp, was fatty and rubbery. We were all seated so close together that loud conversations of those near us were... More

My girlfriend and I took a weekend get away to gettysburg this past weekend and saw Dunlaps and thought we would give it a shot. I ordered a New York Strip with mashed potatos and mac and cheese, my girlfriend ordered the surf and turf speical and we split a order of mozzerella sticks. When the mozzerella sticks arrived they... More

This was our first visit to Dunlap. The food was good and prepared just like we ordered. My family and I ate for less than $50.00 and we even had steak and shrimp. It not crowded, we were seated right away. I would recommend this place, especially if you have kids.

Ugh this place was a mess! Sorry to say but you should know how much to order for... You were out of most steaks for our group! A. It was a Saturday B. It was Remembrance Day weekend! The chili was DISGUSTING! Omg you called that CHILI? It was like tomato soup with chunks of unflavored beef and tomatoes. The... More

Came here after freezing at 150th Anniv of Address. Hot coffee and soupy chicken pot pie saved me from chills and warmed me up. Waitresses were great and brought coffee often. Soup and pie were great. Stayed next door at Federal Pointe Hotel and could smell the bacon frying at 5am during my early walk. Good prices, comfort food and... More

Recommended by locals. Our three meals were barely warm. The home fries were barely fried and tasted like sliced boiled potatoes. Eggs were perfectly cooked; sunny side up, over easy, but cold on a cold plate. Some like it hot. Friendly place but food was likely left too long on the counter.
