We were taken back by how small the space was but the staff were very friendly! Our food came pretty quick and was quite tasty! I would come back again. Oh by the way all the people talking about the so called toilet paper on the table. It's really just thick paper towels on a roll.

I'd read on trip advisor that this place had great food. I talked my husband into trying it.... needless to say we ate there 5 times on our 9 day trip to Gettysburg! The burgers are delicious and the buns are light as air. The philly cheese steak was scrumptious, and the fries....Oh the fries.... Delicious!!! It was our first... More

I work across the street. I just happened to be looking over restaurants in gburg deciding on dinner. I haven't eaten at Hunt's in a long time. I couldn't find a menu but the picture of the cheesesteak was staring me in the face. So I gave them a call, asked if they delivered, and ordered a cheesesteak and cheese... More

This is a small establishment, but very intimate and they make fantastic food. Right in the middle of "tourist row", it offers something most resturants do not.

We never went to Hunt's Battlefield Fries and Cafe until we were here last year and wanted a little snack between breakfast and dinner. Our daughter found it and always returns for their cheese fries. Last year we stopped for a hot dog and were impressed with the other orders being filled. Well this morning we tried their breakfast. It... More

My family and I visited Hunt's after I looked at the reviews on TripAdvisor. When we arrived there wasn't anyone inside! There were about 5 empty tables in what looks like an overcrowded knick-knack shop. After a little bit a young man came out and asked if we were there for food and seated us at one of the tables.... The food was good, the fries were to greasy for my taste. The atmosphere is pretty cool. There is a LOT to look at. We went there once, probably wouldn't go again

We read the reviews on Trip Advisor before our first ever trip to Gettysburg and decided we simply must try Hunt's--it is our surname after all! We had dinner there on a Friday evening and although the place is very small, we were able to be seated quickly and the food was served very fast! Hubby had the cheese steak... More

We stopped by here just for a drink because it was rather early in the day. The owner was so kind to talk to us, telling us about Gettysburg and his business. He told us how he hand cuts his meats for the sandwichs and his fresh cut fries. We were not hungry but I wish I was!!! Right before... More
