As we live on the west coast, it is difficult to find a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich that measures up to the east coast original. After some research, Hunt's Battlefield was the top recommendation for a Philly Cheesesteak in Gettysburg. It did not disappoint! The sandwich was all it should be to satisfy my husband & the hamburger I had was... More

Love to check out local Mom&Pop eateries. Tried their cheese beefsteak and the Mrs tried the chicken version. I skipped the lettuce and went with grilled onions and mayo. Loved it!! Even liked the chicken version. The fries were an excellent side. A medium was more than we were comfortable eating. The owner was friendly and mentioned that they are... More

Cheesesteak and fries don't get any better than this. Some of the best fries and one of the best cheesesteaks I've ever eaten. My wife order the chicken cheesesteak which was great tasting also. I really like the way they melt the cheese in with the meat and grilled onions' darn near perfect. I love fair fries and these are... More

Oh my, oh my!! Really good hamburgers but the fries are going to be one of those foods that I think about. This place is a total dive. We actually saw people come in look around and leave while we were there. Don't be like them. Take a chance just for the fries.

The best food! My husband ordered a chili dog and I had hot beef cheesesteak sub and we split a cheesy fresh cut fries with the cheese on the side. They do not serve ice water by the glass – only bottled. The place is PACKED with nostalgia. There are pictures, most signed, to the owner Scott. I don’t think... More

Cute place - very small. Really good lunch - I had a burger as did most of my friends. Great friendly staff.
