We had a cheese steak sandwich and fries here for lunch. They were really good and we liked it very much. It was located in front of our hotel and was very convenient as well.

I've noticed Hunt's due to the outside seating and the sign that said "Battlefield Fries", The service excellent and the food good. I loved the cheesesteak, it was rally really good. Such a pleasant lunch.

My family and I went in the summer when they were pretty busy. The staff was so nice and the food is even better! I had a beef cheesesteak and some chili cheese fries and my husband had a hamburger. The food was outstanding. I can't wait to come back next summer.

Like a lot of the establishments in Gettysburg, Hunt's is closed from Thanksgiving to March. To avoid disappointment, check their Facebook page before you go. If I come back in season, I'll rate the food not my experience.

From the outside, it looks like any other business in Gettysburg. BUT, as soon as you are inside, it feels like a NYC place. Very small with lots of stuff on the walls (pictures, hats, signs, kitchy stuff to buy). The tables are small and close together, but again it feels like a small NYC deli. The waitress was great.... Very convenient and it has great food. Stay or to go. A gem in hiding really. GO TRY IT! Staff are pleasant and friendly. I bought my husband a baseball cap Screamin' Eagle 101st Airborne. different design. He loved it.

This was a small but quaint little restaurant that had amazing food and service. Don't miss the fresh cut fries!

Hunt's Battlefield Fries has the best food in Gettysburg! It is a "must stop" on our trips to Gettysburg. The owners, Scott and Donna, are great!! Can't wait to stop in next time!

The owner is so nice here. He sits out front and greets everyone with a hello and a smile. The food is simple, fresh and good. We will be back.

Excellent chili cheese dogs! Battlefield fries were delicious, but way too greasy. A little pricey, but so is everything else in this tourist town.
