food is homemade. quaint size restaurant. in warm weather, there's tables for outside. orangeade and lemonade is made fresh on site. nostalgic beverages to choose from. Scotts pretzel rolls are homemade and delicious. It's like coming home and having lunch with family. He greets you by name and remembers what your favorite is. I strongly recommend the hot ham and... Hunt's is a welcome departure from typical ticky-tacky touristy rip off food. It's small, it's old but the food is delicious and affordable. I had two dogs and fries and I don't regret it!

We stopped here on a rainy late afternoon, which was perfect because there was no wait. The fries were very good, the cheesesteak sandwich was simply amazing! The corner we sat in was like a shrine to Faith Hill, with a bit of Andy of Mayberry and Don Knotts thrown in for good measure.

We had lunch there and it was great. The fries were good and the burgers as good. The atmosphere, well....to be experienced. It was small and not as clean as I would like. Had it not been for all the great reviews, I probably would not have stayed. But I am glad we did. The owner's autographed photos wallpaper the... More

The fries are really good , service is friendly, gone there before always good, the small burgers are bigger than normal, wide variety of soft drinks to choose from in coolers or fountain. Great place to stop even if you just want to grab and go.

Hunt's has the best cheesesteak I have ever had. The cheesesteak is fairly large but oh so delicious. We wanted to stop this past weekend while we were in Gettysburg but unfortunately it was closed. No worries, we will try to stop in next time.

This was a fast stop for good eats. great fries, fresh squeezed lemonade, burgers, ice cream, what more do you need. There are assorted things to purchase in every nook and cranny of the place. They also have some outside seating. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We visited Hunt's on a rainy afternoon in October. The service was efficient and friendly. It is family owned and operated. I had a tasty burger and my husband enjoyed his philly steak sandwich. They definitely didn't skimp on the portions. Our only disappointment was with the fries. They were definitely fresh cut but I would have liked them a... More

A trip to Gettysburg is not a trip to Gettysburg without stopping in to Hunt's. The fries are the Best in the World! In fact, all of the food is delicious, even the ice cream is wonderful. Scott and Donna, the owners, are Awesome!! I can't wait to go back!
