A very small, laid back, eclectic place. Stopped here on a whim. Only about 6 tables inside, a couple outside. Great bottled soda selection. Husband had a cheesesteak, I had a chicken cheesesteak, and we split fries. Husband said cheesesteak was solid, mine was good. Chicken chunks, not shaved. Not my favorite but still really tasty. Fries were fresh cut...... More

I read the reviews and, as a cheesesteak lover, decided I had to check this place out. There isn't much room to sit inside or outside and to be honest the place seems cluttered and not terribly clean, as can be the case with mom and pop shops. But the food was incredible. The fries were hot and fresh with... More

We stopped here on a rainy. Saturday for lunch. It's a tiny little place , with funky decor - much to look at as you chose your lunch. The fries are really good and the pretzel rolls for the sandwiches are great. The server was very friendly and was more than willing to Be flexible in our order for my... More

I think this was our 4th or 5th visit to Hunts and it didn't disappoint. If you're lucky enough to nab a sidewalk umbrella table, the experience is perfect. Their cheesesteaks never change and their cheese fries are great (get the cheese on the side so they don't get mushy). Only one server usually on, so sit back and be... More

You have your pick of different meats, sauces and toppings for the cheese steak sandwiches and all of the ones we had were delicious! It's named after it's fries, and while not different from many other fries, they were good and plentiful!

After reading all the great reviews, we decided to stop in for lunch. We were rather disappointed. The fries were good, but the rest of the food was average, and rather mediocre. We did enjoy the large variety of sodas to choose from. The waitress was very friendly, but service was slow. Not her fault though, she was the only... More

We stopped here for lunch while visiting Gettysburg. Would have missed it if we hadn't been looking for it. Lunch was great, kids ate their fill. Will visit again.

After reading excellent reviews on trip advisor and a recommendation from a friend, we had to try Hunt's. The building is quite small, though they do offer outdoor seating. The restaurant is decorating with vintage looking advertising signs that you can also purchase. There was so much to look at that we forgot to look at the menu for a... More
