Good breakfast

Went here for a early breakfast before we made our way home, on the recommendation of a local. I had oatmeal with blueberries and my husband had an omelet....we both had coffee. All was perfectly prepared and service was great. Diner could have been a bit cleaner, but they are open 24 hours a... read more

My husband and I were super hungry and very few places had less than a 1.5 hour wait. We soon found out why the Lincoln Diner had no wait. The dessert was yummy, but the food was not something I care to experience again.

Delicious homemade food, coffee is very good (and I am hard to please), hospitable wait staff, plenty of tables, food arrives quickly, and prices are more than fair!

We had dinner here tonight. I had beef orzo soup. It was a cup of orzo with a tomato flavor. I had a tossed salad. It was so old the iceberg lettuce had that brown purple color it gets as it ages. I pulled out a pile of that and ate the bit of spring mix that was in it.... More

I've tried and tried to figure out how to enjoy this place but every year I go back it's another disappointment. After 30 yrs I'm over it. It WAS our "go to" place and it's one of the places our kids grew up wanting to go to. Evening about 8:00 and just arrived. Terrible, terrible service, so so food at... More

If you are looking for breakfast in the Gettysburg area this is the place to go! It does get very busy but the wait is very minimal. I highly recommend the Mykonos Omelet! I don't know what egg substitute they use for my omelet, but WOW!! Can't be beat!

The food is always good enough. The service is never abysmal, but never fantastic. Considering that their biggest rush is between 10p and 2a, this isn't much of a surprise. It's an old-fashioned diner, and it has a good atmosphere. Good for a quick bite to eat or to have a nice catch-up with a friend over some food. Excellent... More
