After visiting the Tubafest in Gettysburg, my wife and I decided to try this diner. The diner was clean and pretty big and the menu had a great selection. We ordered drinks and got them quickly and then ordered our food. The waiter rarely checked our drinks and my drink was empty throughout much of the time there. I ordered... More

Typical diner food. A majority of their business is drunk college kids at 3am. If you aren't expecting a five-star visit, you won't be highly disappointed.

We've been gong to the Lincoln for years. Place packs 'em in - especially on holiday weekends. We arrived early (around 6 a.m. so we had no problem. Usually sit wherever you want. A couple of years ago, they changed their "cash-only" policy - so now you can also use credit cards. Always a safe breakfast spot. Omelets might be... More

Not tidy enough for me. Waitress needs to pay more attention to customers. Food was okay. Could be so much more.

You wonder what Abe would make of the "Lincoln Diner" with a big picture of him on the sign. We ate her for breakfast twice. The first time was poor since we made the mistake of having the oatmeal- it just is not as good as our porridge. next morning we had what diner,s do best: a good honest hearty... More

It's amazing to think that Lincoln himself stopped here for breakfast on the morning of the Gettysburg Address and famously said "these pancakes are as thick as the bonds of our friendship, and this apple pie as sweet as the taste of freedom".......Ok, maybe that didn't happen, but the Lincoln Diner (aka the LD) is a fun, simple, 50s style... To be honest we went there only because everywhere else was filled due to parents weekend and glad we did. although my grilled cheese was not the best, my husband had the Meat Loaf Parm. Nothing we had ever heard of, but it was delicious. Very flavorful. Also would recommend the apple pie and blueberry pie. The down side was... More

I admit, we went on a busy Sunday for breakfast. From the time we seated ourselves (they don't do it for you, no matter how crowded it gets), it took 15 minutes for the waitress to take our orders. Our orders weren't complicated...there were three of us and one ordered an omelette and two ordered French toast. It took OVER... More

Quaint "dining car location right downtown. Open 24/7 and when we were there about 2pm, a staffer was sweeping what may have been the previous night's bacon off the floor. Basic burger & fries fare - my meal was good. Service was prompt and good. I would go back, but my wife would not, based simply on the cleanliness of... More

We visited Gettysburg in August of 2014 and were looking for a good place for breakfast so decided to try out this little diner we walked past. Well it was great, the service was top notch, great coffee, great food, and great price! Liked it so much we returned the second day of our stay to eat there again as... More
