The Lincoln Diner is a diner. The food is diner food and the staff are diner staff. If you go into this place knowing that, it will be a really good experience. It doesn't try to be something it's not, which is refreshing, especially in a tourist town like Gettysburg. They have very satisfying and comforting breakfasts. The booth in... More

I am a big fan of diners and Lincoln Diner in Gettysburg did not disappoint. The crab cake sandwich was well-prepared and accompanied by fresh lettuce, crispy chips and a large pickle slice. My dining companion enjoyed a spinach pie with phyllo dough. It was late lunch time and we were able to relax and enjoy the AC on a... More

The Lincoln Diner has been a "go to" spot for our family for the past 25+ years and has always had good, reliable, reasonably priced food with friendly service. We stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The outside is getting run down and dirty-looking and the inside was not clean at all. It just looks tired.... More

Nothing fancy. Good eggs pancakes french toast bacon and coffee. The price for the M to F breakfast is very economical. Old fashioned diner appeal. Nice friendly serving staff. If you just need to eat then get going stop here. Not a lot of room inside but more space in the back dining area. Every time I've been here it... More

Not the cleanest place. Seat yourself. We just had sandwiches and they was OK. Turkey was dry and uneven. Waitress was pleasant but food service was slow and they were not busy at the time. Prices were typical for the area. There are better places in town

Traditional diner from the 50's. There were 3 of us and all of us had good food and large portions. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable for the area.

This diner is open 24 hours a day, but we were the only ones in the dining room on a Sunday night for a semi-late dinner. As a result, we had our waiter's complete attention. He was very friendly and helpful, going above and beyond (ie. bringing a water picture for us, taking the plan side salad and turning it... More

Our family stopped here after touring Gettysburg National Park. The food was average at best, although I suspect their deserts would have been delicious by the looks of the pies. The biggest problem was the cleanliness of the diner, seemed a bit dirty almost everywhere from the booth seats to the windows to the floors.

This old fashioned diner is not the cleanest place I've ever eaten in. However, the breakfast they serve (all day) - particularly the French toast is unbelievable. It made of bread they make themselves. We ate here for lunch and came back the next day for lunch! Others with me has grilled cheese and cheeseburger (they said they were ok).... More
