The Lincoln Diner, or "Stinkin' Lincoln" as the locals call it is a favorite hangout. It's everything you expect a diner to be, cheap, quick service, a little grimey and having that distinctive smell of a place that serves breakfast 24/7. If you really want to experience the diner as a local, close down one of the many bars around... More

In Gettysburg there is no shortage of kitschy Lincoln-themed attractions. Almost every block there is some Lincoln store, Lincoln restaurant, Lincoln souvenir shop, etc. At the outset, there is nothing that unique about the Lincoln Diner. It's kind of on the outskirts of town by the train tracks. Just looks like a typical diner. But it's not! Half of the... More

I have been here for breakfast twice. The food is great, and both times, the waitress was pleasant. It's a small town feel diner. Parking can be a small issue. Very small parking area. You seat yourself, which can be annoying when very crowded. But, these things are not annoying enough to keep me away. It's also open 24 hours!... More

It's a diner. As long as you keep that in mind, you won't be disappointed. Good, basic food with adequate service. I order it, I eat it, I never complain.

The Lincoln Diner is a diner. The food is diner food and the staff are diner staff. If you go into this place knowing that, it will be a really good experience. It doesn't try to be something it's not, which is refreshing, especially in a tourist town like Gettysburg. They have very satisfying and comforting breakfasts. The booth in... More

I am a big fan of diners and Lincoln Diner in Gettysburg did not disappoint. The crab cake sandwich was well-prepared and accompanied by fresh lettuce, crispy chips and a large pickle slice. My dining companion enjoyed a spinach pie with phyllo dough. It was late lunch time and we were able to relax and enjoy the AC on a... More

The Lincoln Diner has been a "go to" spot for our family for the past 25+ years and has always had good, reliable, reasonably priced food with friendly service. We stopped by for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The outside is getting run down and dirty-looking and the inside was not clean at all. It just looks tired.... More

Nothing fancy. Good eggs pancakes french toast bacon and coffee. The price for the M to F breakfast is very economical. Old fashioned diner appeal. Nice friendly serving staff. If you just need to eat then get going stop here. Not a lot of room inside but more space in the back dining area. Every time I've been here it... More
