We visited Gettysburg in August of 2014 and were looking for a good place for breakfast so decided to try out this little diner we walked past. Well it was great, the service was top notch, great coffee, great food, and great price! Liked it so much we returned the second day of our stay to eat there again as... More

Before enjoying the local scenery, hubby and I popped into the Lincoln Diner for breakfast. Many locals and tourists visited. The place was non-stop customers, but no one waiting! Typical, traditional 50's diner atmosphere! The waitress was friendly and chatty! Hubby ordered the bacon omelette and I the broccoli omelette. The food was tasty and the quantity abundant! Very pleasant... More

needed a place for breakfast on the last day of trip, Monday morning wouldn't be as busy as weekends. A couple of issues with meal but one waiter complained to known customer the whole time we were there. Bathroom downstairs could be issue for some. Horrible sounding door shutting each time, probably will pass on this in future.

We live in Gettysburg and go to the Lincoln Diner all of the time, food is always good and the prices are always great, service is usually fast. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some good food and a great price. It is a typical diner, nothing fancy but has a good variety on their menu and... More

There are many dining experience options in downtown Gettysburg. The Lincoln Diner offers simple home style food and a typical diner atmosphere. Breakfast is available all day. The restaurant is right down the street from Gettysburg College so expect to see college students and their parents as well as locals. The bathrooms are downstairs which may be difficult for older... Food was okay-- it was pretty busy and people that sat after us got their food before us. We sat at the counter and it took almost 20 minutes for the not so friendly waitress to acknowledge our presence and ask us what we wanted. Meanwhile a couple, came in-- sat down-- and received their food in about 20 minutes... More

This is a classic diner. Food was very good as was the service. It could use a good dusting of the windowsills inside and pie case needs to be cleaned more often

My husband and I were in Gettysburg for 3 mornings, we had breakfast here two of them and both days were fantastic! Eggs exactly the way I requested, fresh brewed coffee and really inexpensive! A great diner in downtown Gettysburg!
