The title says it all. We were in Gettysburg for four days and had breakfast at the Ragged Edge the first morning. And the second morning. And the third morning. And the fourth morning. Easily, hands down the best baked oatmeal I've ever had, and (from the non-oatmeal eaters in the group) their bagel breakfast sandwiches were darn good as... More

This is, by far, my favorite coffee shop in Gettysburg. The staff is always pleasant and the ambience is great! You can enjoy your coffee and a pastry as you glance at one of the local newspapers that are provided or admire the art (from local artists) that hangs upon the walls. They also offer a variety of fresh juice... More

Stopped by for lunch for catch up on some emails. Very cozy atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. Food was simple and good. My mint green tea was delicious. Will be back.

Our search for a quick, reasonably healthy breakfast took us just a block away from the center of town. It's a little coffee shop called The Ragged Edge. (There's another location also within walking distance from the town's center square.) From fresh coffee to baked goods to breakfast sandwiches made from clean, organic ingredients, this little gem was an ideal... More

I have eaten here twice. The food is fantastic. The sandwiches are huge, fresh, and on amazing bread. This is an eclectic little coffee house reminiscent of the way coffee houses should be. The baked goods come from a shop a couple of doors over, and are equally delicious. It is always a treat to find a small place like... More

The coffee was fine. Nothing wonderful. The breakfast sandwiches were good but over priced. The one thing that was really bad about the place was the number of flies in the place. When you first walked in I didn't notice them, but in the back dinning room there were a lot bugging you while you were trying to eat. That... More

I used to come here a lot when I went to college in Gettysburg, but eventually stopped going because the service and coffee drinks kept getting worse. After the fourth time the girl behind the counter forgot my bagel/sandwich order, I decided it wasn't worth it anymore. I warmed up to the Ugly Mug a few blocks away. The coffee... More

We were searching for good coffee, and our tour bus stopped at the Ragged Edge as part of its break. They are a fair trade, direct trade coffee house, roasting their own beans; it is very good coffee. Staff super friendly and easy to talk to, and did I say the coffee was great :)

Stopped in for some lunch, had smoothies, iced mocha, quiche, buffalo blue sandwich, and veggie sandwich. Everything was excellent and fresh. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Will go again in the morning for coffee- can't wait to try it!

My husband and I stopped there and had a cappuccino, the cinnamon bun and a cranberry yogurt oatmeal bar. Everything was terrific. Best cappuccino I have ever had. Sitting on the porch was lovely.
