Good Food, Reasonably Priced!

Located in the center of the 'ghost tours', O'Rorke's is a perfect spot to grab a meal after a day of exploring and before a ghost tour. Cafe fare up to full dinners, all seem priced fairly.. Service was good. And if they have corned beef and cabbage, go for it!

We ate at O'Rorke's while visiting Gettysburg, and weren't too impressed. The food tasted average, and the menu doesn't have anything that any other bar wouldn't have. It was not an unpleasant experience by any means, but while on vacation we like to try new things and new restaraunts instead of eating the same thing we could have ordered at... More

This is a great place! We sat outside. I had a burger with cheddar which was one of the best burgers I have ever had! I highly reccomend this place! Our waitress was attentive to our needs! Excellent!

Lunch was ok. Had the meatball lunch special. Tasted like meatloaf. Not sure we would go back. Convent location to the hotel as we could walk to the restaurant.

O'Rorkes was recommended to us by a local who said it was very good. We were not disappointed. After a long day of touring we decided to have a nice dinner in town. The restaurant is in a very established tavern. The old oak and maple furnishings at the bar were just lovely as well as the very worn floor.... More

Every year I make a trip to Gettysburg for its historically preserved landscape and its quiet peaceful after battle atmosphere. After seeing everything there is possibly to see and doing every event in town my trip becomes less about learning and more about enjoying the inner more parts of the town. O'Rorke's is without a doubt the one place that... More

My wife and I visited Gettysburg May 15th - May 17th, 2015. This pub/restaurant was directly across the street from the hotel in which we were staying. Up front, Gettysburg pubs, for some reason, don't seem to have a vast array of draft brews to select from, which I found a little disappointing. Now, having said that, if you search... More

O'Rorke's has a great pub atmosphere and is walking distance of downtown Gettysburg. Portions of the menu were really good, but it could have been exceptional if they had used fresh chicken and hamburger instead of frozen institutionally prepared. We ate there twice and one night the service was great, the next night just so-so.

Good atmosphere. Attentive staff. The local beer was very good. Unfortunately they had sold out of it the second time we went in. Guinness was good. Had a meal. Salmon was delicious. Meat loaf ok.

The food was good. We were there at the change of staff, so it was a little slow, but that was ok because we weren't in a rush.
