Great atmosphere, good food

We went to Ireland last spring, & this place really feels like an authentic Irish pub inside & out. The food was typical pub fare, but I felt it was well done & a good value. sweet chili wings are delicious! nachos great! Service was prompt and attentive. The outdoor area in the back is nice if it starts to sprinkle - you still get outside but have a quaint covered patio that makes you feel comfortable.

My wife and I went there for cold beer and appetizers. Beer is cool, not cold, no chilled glasses. I think beer should be about 34-38 degrees for drinking in the summer, especially if you want to sell more. The appetizers were wonderful. We went 2 nights in a row

O'Rorke's isn't the worst restaurant in Gettysburg, but it sure isn't the best. I would give them an overall rating of "average." They offer competitive pricing, average service, and OK food. If you have kids, I would go before it gets too late, as they get a lot of "bikers" that come in and the place transforms from a restaurant... More

In a town full of blah restaurants serving blah food, O'Rorke's gives you what you expect...blah. Arrived on a somewhat slow Sunday afternoon and was ordered to see the hostess for a seat on the deck. The hostess, busy serving tables, eventually undertook her arduous task which any server could have easily done. Ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp and... More

If you're looking for tavern food this place has some pretty good choices. It gets busy for diinner and LOUD. The food is average and so is the wine selection. Most people order beer which has many more choices. On the weekends the place is very busy and I've visited when many reenactors were present. This ads to the atmosphere,... More

Fries were plain. Burgers came hot, but unremarkable. Pulled pork, though, was fantastic. Hands down, you have to get their pulled pork. It is to die for. The place was clean and nicely-decorated. Next time, though, let's try to hire staff that doesn't use the F-bomb around minors.

Great steak dinner! The staff was very helpful and attentive. Small place, but it also had tables outside.

From its sandwiches to its steaks, everything is delicious, and there is no such thing as a small portion. You definitely get your money's worth. It is casual dining at its best, with a very laid-back atmosphere inside, with outdoor dining available in season and weather permitting. The service is fantastic, with the waitresses and waiters cheerful, friendly, helpful and... More

I've eaten both lunch & dinner at O'Rorke's and have never been disappointed with either food or service, nor has anyone who has dined with me. The food is good, prices are reasonable. It's one of Gettysburg's most popular dining spots.
