While I would not say that this is one of the best meals I have had in a restaurant I would say it is up there on the list. The food was good and tasted freshly made, not sitting in a steam table all night. The portions size was also exceptional. We made the mistake of ordering dessert this piece... More

Asked the girl at my hotel's front desk where the locals eat. She suggested "Pub", though I had read some reviews where I thought, maybe not. Went anyway. Atmosphere very dark and dreary. Salad was ok, but it came with a seasoned pretzel portion, which looked really good. Unfortunately, couldn't even eat it, seemed microwaved into rock formation. Order stuffed... More

The food is good for pub food. The selection was great and the food tasty. Service was excellent. If you are looking for pub atmosphere and food I would recommend The Pub.

The title says it all. I like this place. A good location as well, within the town. Right on the town square.

My husband and I had dinner here on an early Friday evening--it really got crowded about half way through our meal, but we were lucky enough to be seated right away!. He had the Clam chowder which was SOOO good! I had the French onion and was also delighted with that choice. Wish i had been hungry enough for the... More

Portions are very large. In fact, I would say too large. My wife and I went for lunch. We both had the cream of crab soup. Delicious. Creamy base with lots of crab meat. Then we each had a sandwich from the menu. Very tasty, but neither of us could finish our meal. The beer selection is very good, but... More

We took our neice (a student at Gettysburg College) to dinner to celebrate her birthday. We asked her to choose the restaurant. Our neice chose a salad dinner (sorry, I forget the name), and she seemed pleased with it. My wife chose the stuffed chicken, and she was pleased with it. I thought I was getting a steak fajitas dinner... More

The Pub is a wonderful spot to dine at for just about anything on your taste list. Visiting Gettysburg? Put this on your list of places to try. Expect to wait at least 45-1 hour for a table at dinner, though. It's always busy; hence, the reason it's so yummy! It's pretty pricey for the food list, but delicious, nonetheless.... More

We come here often as we live close. Saturday night was busy both restaurant and bar side. But once we got seated service was excellent. Fitz chips (homemade potato chips with old bay) is our favorite appetizer. We even get an order to go. Varied menu something for everyone. Highly recommend but be prepared to wait no call ahead or... The Pub & Restaurant has a very happening feel to it as it was very full the Sunday evening we stopped in. We only waited for about 10 minutes and it was worth the wait. The cream of crab was delicious! The prices seemed a tad high for sandwiches and wraps but after getting my Old-Style sandwich (grilled chicken breast... More
