Nice Lunch, Clearly Biker Friendly with Reserved Parking Spots Just For Motorcycles

We were headed to Gettysburg to spend the afternoon cruising the battlefield back roads on the bike and thought we'd stop for lunch at one of the places we frequent in town. We were on Baltimore Pike headed in to town (west off of 15) when we came upon the Pike Restaurant, just east of the Comfort... read more

I went for the Saturday prime rib & seafood buffet after a long day at Gettysburg. Knowing the place would get crowded, I was there right after the buffet started at 5pm, and good thing I did. First, I did sit outside, which was nice because the weather was great. A bit of a pain going in and out for... More

......I would. The hostess seated 2 obvious regulars before us, even though we were there first. It all got worse. We ordered a simple turkey sandwich and cheeseburger, and it took 35 minutes to get. And the place was not crowded. The "mild" chicken wings were ridiculously spicy, almost inedible. As for their "best burgers in Gettysburg" as the menu... More

Food and drinks were excellent. Broasted chicken and local ale, shrimp quesdillas and wine. Price was inexpensive and we took some home. You can't beat it.

Sure beats the chain restaurants! We visited on Saturday. 4 in our party. I suggest reservations if you want to sit in the dining room. You have three options: Dining room, lounge or deck. It was nice outside, we decided on the deck. There is a smoking area nearby, if that bothers you, sit inside. Two of us opted for... More

We stopped here on our way south with our 2 spoiled Shih Tzu's, and were warmly greeted and welcomed to sit on their front porch. They immediately brought out a bowl of water for the pups and even cooked them a burger for lunch. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they served us the BEST Sangria's we ever... We ate there twice. The food was very good. The impressive thing was the restaurant handled a group of 30, with less than one hour's notice.

Definitely eat here! Try the roast beef and gravy on white bread that is under local faves on the menu. It took me 3 sittings to eat it! Great food and you definitely get your money's worth! The staff are nice.

Wanted a light dinner and a restaurant we could park in front of. Enjoyed my burger, done to perfection. Husband had supreme nachos, too much for one person. The cheese was not that good, tasted like Velveeta. Service was excellent and price fine for what we had.

I saw this one on our way back to the hotel after touring the visitor center. This was after we had already had dinner at another restaurant so I wanted to make sure that we went there the next day. Very glad we did! Laura, our waitress was very good, she recommended the Steamed Shrimp Appetizer. A lot of shrimp,... More
