Now this one is really great there is so much food, the salad bar and dessert table is wonderful, especially the pecan pie and peach pie. the main dishes were great too. For dinner they had prime rib and ham and fried chicken with all the sides you can imagine. Fresh bread with whipped butter. We went there for lunch... More

The salad bar and main buffet were average. The food we ate was good although there were some items that needed to be refreshed and simply stirred as they were looking a little dry. The desserts were great and a large enough selection to make it difficult to choose. This place was a solid "3" except that the excellent service... More

Not a huge selection of food, but what was there was very good. The desserts seemed to be home baked, and had a great selection. The one's I sampled were very good. The service was great. Although a little dated, the interior seemed to go with the whole atmosphere. Would recommend this restaurant for sure, but bring a big appetite.

Just plain old, flat out not good. At $12.95 a person, we figured we would give it a try. We all had a hard time getting our fill with the poor selection and even worse quality food. What a shame, because it could be a really cute place.

This restaurant was pretty good, great veggie selection and home cookin'! The salad bar was great and I think the dessert bar was better than the main course bars. Service was excellent too, very friendly people throughout the whole place.

We ate here twice while in Gettysburg. Went there on our first night and enjoyed it so much, my grandson asked to go back there again before we left. Friendly staff and even our waitress remembered us and what we had ordered to drink from the first visit...

A better deal can't be found. For $9.99, you choose from home-made chicken, meatloaf, ham, turkey, home baked bread, plenty of side dishes, a salad bar and a table loaded with delicious desserts. The servers are friendly and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Very family friendly.

General Pickett's buffet was just average. Nothing to brag about. The service was the best part. Our waitress was very friendly and explained where everything was on buffet and she kept our drinks filled.

Any time I am in Gettysburg, I make sure to stop and eat at this fine restaurant. The staff and selections are top notch, and the location is perfect! My family and I are all card carrying members of their "Regulars Club" even though we only go there a couple of times a year.
