Nice little family diner

My family and I were visiting Gettysburg and decided to stop in for dinner. Good food. Reasonably priced. Courteous waitstaff. I had the Turkey Rachel - very good. Salads good. My husband loved the beef over stuffing with mashed potatoes. My son was happy with the chicken cordonbleu and my... read more

Usually have good food here, but I was disappointed this time around. I ordered the Haunted Burger. It was suppose to have on it tomatoes, lettuce and pepperoni slices. No lettuce, no tomatoes and if there were pepperoni slices...didn't see or taste them. The french fries were a little cold and there wasn't much of them. The service was okay... More

Good location. Staff friendly. Clean. If your hungry and in the area, stop in. Had a Western omelet. There was no ham and eggs were overcooked, by my standards. Hash browns were almost cold. I might give it a second try if I'm in the area again. Everything needs a second chance.

Staying within walking distance and stopped here for breakfast, waitress was nice and attentive its a typical diner the kind the local police eat at, had the sweet potato pancakes and they were good. No complaints here as far as a breakfast stop anyway.

Stopped in with a friend. Service was quick, good and constant. Food was very good. We had a turkey club with chips and a burger with fries. All was MORE than we should have eaten and well prepared. Thanks for a great meal cause we were starving!

In our experience, this place has gone downhill in recent years. It is way overpriced. Average food is served with prices that rival rip-off prices at a major tourist area. Restaurant is dirty and generally staff seems bothered by the job of waiting on you. Too much good food in the area to eat here again!

Food was good, waitress was friendly. My sister got the cream of crab soup and loved it! Had vegetarian option, too.

The food was average but totally overpriced. The chili, disgusting. It tasted like the ey used last night's left over spaghetti sauce as the base. Not impressed and will not come again.

I only gave this 2 because of the great service. I ordered corned beef hash and toast. The toast was barely cooked , almost white and covered with margarine (I hate margerine). The hash was the greasest dish that was ever served to me. I sent it back and in the end was not charged for it. I would not return... More
