Great candy shop and reasonable prices, nice owners.

This is right across the street from our favorite breakfast place (Café St. Amand) and so our kids enjoyed frequenting this business as well. Wonderful selection of about everything with sugar (and to be fair some things without haha). Perfect for every sweet toothe! If you like candy then this... read more

This was our first time here. Many memories seeing some of the candy I grew up on as well as some that I haven't seen before. They also have some interesting soda flavors as well. We tries the pb&j soda, the vampires blood soda and I just went old school and got a grape nehi. This may become a regular... More

This candy shop had almost anything you could think of from sweets to sours, soft to crunchy, and more. You name it, they probably have it. Be prepared to pay a little more for it though, a small 1.3 oz. can of mints and a bottle of soda set me back around 7 dollars.

We went in here while walking around the town- not a big store but tons of stuff. We bought a bunch of candy that we hadn't seen since we were kids. Prices weren't that bad and our kids (preteen and teen) thought this place was great! They also had sodas from all over with odd flavored like bacon and buffalo... More

I first came here a few years back during a 2012 trip to Gettysburg; the last time I was here was early last summer. The selection of odd and not-commonly-seen candy is very good. They also have your standard candy shop fare.

This is such a fun place to go! In fact, everytime I visit family in Gettysburg (1x or 2x a year) we come here once or twice during that weekend :) The place has lots of candy (new, local and nostalgic) and some toys (great collection of rubber duckies). I bought a few favorites but mostly tried new things and... More

It was the beginning of the season when we visited in April, but the taffy in the bins seemed like it had been sitting there since last year. Rock hard, every piece, from multiple bins (in a sealed box it might be ok, but loosely wrapped?). While there is a large selection of candy, it's not too different than what... More

Dear Lisa, I'm very sorry you had a bad experience. I do wish you would have given us a chance to fix it and not rate our entire store so low with incorrect information. The fact is, as we do every few weeks, we just cleaned out ALL of our bins and threw away over 150 pounds of taffy in... More

I probably could've judged them as better then I did, but I was beat down tired. My family was totally into it. There was a ton of choices. It made for a nice reward for my kids acting perfect on the trip. If your tired or mad stay in the car. A candy place should make us all smile.

Cool little candy store with loads of different candies and some nostalgic stuff like Coke in glass bottles. Unfortunately they didn't have Ka-Bloowies (sp?), but that isn't their fault. Apparently they don't make them anymore, hence why I haven't seen them in over twenty years. The guy behind the counter, who I assume was the owner, was a very friendly... More

This candy store sells wonderful things...old fashioned candy and current candy too. They sell pop in bottles and edible bugs. Almost anything you could want they have. The proprietor is friendly and very kind. There was a man who came in to the store, picked up a few pieces of candy and went to the counter. The gentleman behind the... More
