Seriously it was just mediocre ice cream. I got Swiss chocolate almond a and my husband got the chocolate chip. We both ate a few bites then decided we had had enough. It was pretty disappointing. Not much flavor.

Saw a man coming out who said the coconut ice cream was awesome so had to try myself. It was great - and a single scoop? well it was more of what I would have considered a double scoop. Not skimpy on the servings at all - great prices too

We decided to substitute an ice cream treat for lunch and all four of our group was thrilled with the choice. There was an excellent list of choices and of course we had to sample several. Hard decisions but we all loved the end result. The woman behind the counter added to the pleasant experience.

We visited Sunset Ice Cream Parlor because our Inn offered us two free hot fudge sundae's with our Gettysburg package deal. The ice cream was good and we liked the porch sitting area out front.

There's a reason this place is the top rated "restaurant" on tripadvisor! I had a craving for ice cream and boy oh boy, did this hit the spot! The woman who helped me was very friendly and let me try five different flavors without any judgment. I settled on Maple Walnut and am so glad I did. My son and... More

They have really great milkshakes! This was the perfect way to cool off after a tour of the battlefield.

I went to the Sunset Ice Cream Parlor and the ice cream I had was very ordinary. I would not recommend going out of your way to visit this Parlor. I went with 3 other people who all agreed. It has a cute porch on the front, which adds a little small town feel to the experience.

My husband had a chocolate milk shake and I had a waffle cone of Black Cherry Ice Cream. The ice cream is very smooth and has so much flavor. Found out the ice cream is made exclusively for this place only. It is well worth a visit.

Delicious homemade ice cream at a great price! Lots of flavors. Friendly service, clean. We were able to eat inside or out.

Stopped quick for some ice cream on our walk back to our hotel. Great hard ice cream with a bunch of flavors. A nice finish to our day.
