The place was great for a nice cool treat. I loved the fall flavors. My whole family loved the ice cream. The staff was nice and even helped me play a joke on my 6 year old using the no whinning sign in the shop. It was great!

The server was in a real pissy mood, and wasn't afraid to show it to the customers. They kind of stuff really turns me off of a place

Located in the heart of Gettysburg, Sunset Ice Cream is a great stop to take while sightseeing. It has a friendly atmosphere, we walked in as they were closing and were still kindly served. The Peanut Butter Swirl was fantastic!! It's nice to know there are shops that still make homemade (quite delicious) ice cream.

As this was the second favorite restaurant (although I would not call it a restaurant), we were excited to try the ice cream. Two of ours had ice chips in it (coffee) and tasted freezer burned and other two (watermelon & chocolate chip) tasted grainy. I struggled to give it an average. From the other reviews, maybe it was just... More

The ice cream is so good! They give you samples to taste before you make your choice. The coconut creme is so good!

Loved the salted caramel ice cream and within walking distance of the Brickhouse Inn. We had ice cream for dinner our last night and walked around looking at historical homes.

This place had wonderful hand-dipped ice cream. Try the salted caramel ice cream. Wonderful! My cup had more than my husband's, so he traded with me! Ha. This ice cream parlor is in a great location and provides a nice, refreshing break from a day of exploring in Gettysburg.

We visit Gettysburg three times a year ...!!! On average, a minimum of 5 to 6 days each time... Well, out of those 5 to 6 days, "Ice-Cream" is a must, @ least one time a day... To us... there is "NO" other ice cream in town, but that of Sunset ..!! Nothing better ...!! So many flavors to choose... More
