Cuisines: American
Description: 20 different kinds of mini-cupcakes, beautifully boxed, or eat in! Each one we tried was better than the next, and thankfully they were small enough to eliminate any guilt factor while trying each one. Coffee was a good compliment, and our little group of 5 had a hard time leaving!

Cupcakes really were not good. We had better at the local grocery chain store. Then the scones followed suit. But in the end the cupcakes across town are not really any better.

Friendly staff, delicious food, and we finally found the US Christian Commission museum, which is inside the store. Very informative!

Everyone needs a cupcake and coffee at some time during their visit to Gettysburg and you will be delighted you came here, so many flavors, great service by wonderful people. Take some time while savoring you culinary delight to take in the history of the Christian Commission highlighted in the front of the shop. All in all a worthwhile visit... More

I went here on a whim with some time to kill downtown and it ended up being the highlight of my trip. The cupcakes were great! Super velvety and the icing was perfect. However, the people were what made this place truly wonderful. Everyone working there made me feel like I was relaxing in their own home and were just... More

We were walking in Gettysburg and came across Johnny Como's and decided to pop in for dessert and to see what they had. We were in luck the special cupcake of the day was Red Velvet our favorite. So the ones they had made up had cream cheese frosting on them. I prefer buttercream frosting. So they immediately said they... More

We lucked out upon this darling little shop. We ordered coffee, cocoa, scones, cookies and then the AMAZING cronuts. I could have consumed a dozen of these yummy cronuts. The owner was so sweet and talked with us for some time. It was obvioius she was passionate about her products and her customers. Would have loved to take her on... More

We stopped by not knowing anything about the place. Wow! What a surprise, not only was the place decorated fabulously in honor of the owner's grandmother, but she is an absolute delight. She can certainly bake too! Everything we tried was fabulous! This is a non-profit establishment and all proceeds going to their missions of helping military cope with life.... More

These are hands down the best cupcakes I have ever ate. We travel quite a bit to Gettysburg and always enjoy a cupcake each day of our visit for dessert. Susie sure knows how to bake 'em! They are baked fresh daily and always have a variety. So far, my favorites have been, the caramel latte, strawberries and cream and... More

Stopped in just on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. The owners greeted you warmly. Johnny is apparently the cousin of Perry Como. The decor was 1970's and was just classic. Cupcakes were outstanding with too many choices to choose from.

We visited as part of Downtown Divas. I thought I would get to choose something, but a table was set for us and scones, cannoli, and a mini cupcake were on the table for us. Some of us had some diet restrictions. When we asked about substituting something, no attempt was made to help. The attitude of the lady running... More
