We were attracted to Mr. G's by the sign for home made soft serve ice cream and the line. Lots of people but the small cone was plenty. Mr. G's also does shakes, Malta, floats, and sundaes. Yum yum yummy!

The ice cream is very good with a good selection. I like their soft serve. It's clear others like the place as well as I have never been there when it was empty, even in cold weather. When we walked in, there was a line of about a half dozen customers - i think our wait was only 5 minutes... More

We visited Gettysburg for the first time and always hit ice cream places wherever we go on vacation. We went to Mr. G's, met Mr. G, and had a great experience there! He was kind enough to even show us around the building and make it a great experience! Thanks so much for the great experience and my wife would... More

We visited this ice cream shop because of a recommendation and the fact that they made their own ice cream. I ordered a chocolate shake and was disappointed to see they were going to use softserve and chocolate syrup but I wanted the real ice cream and changed the order to use their real ice cream. It was fantastic.

Visited this place with my daughter during spring break. The staff and service was top notch, very friendly and courteous! I ordered one scoop of their expresso ice cream and it was fantastic; not overly sweet and the coffee flavor was good and not overpowering. My daughter order a brownie sundae. The thing was huge with big pieces of brownie.... More

Great personal and even better ice cream! You can sit inside by the fireplace or outside on the antique benches or old time style table and chairs and watch the traffic go by. Make sure to note the "Witness Tree" just outside the shop on the edge of the fence.

Hands down the best ice cream my wife and I have ever had! Every time we are in Gettysburg we visit here twice daily to get ice cream in the afternoon and evening. The smell of the parlor is amazing!
