Parked right outside by good luck and popped in. The ladies serving were lovely and very helpful. The ice cream was wonderful even though the weather was cool and damp. It must be heavenly on a hot sunny day. Lovely little room to sit in to enjoy the huge portion, and the price was very reasonable. Don't miss it.

This was our first visit to Mr. G's and certainly it won't be our last. They have homemade ice cream that is probably the best I have ever tasted. The prices are extremely reasonable and the options to choose from are plentiful. This is my pick for Gettysburg Ice Cream.

Excellent ice cream! I had the homemade chocolate chip cookie dough. The shop smells wonderful as you enter and the staff were very friendly and gave excellent service.

We went to Gettysburg for a long weekend, and had to have ice cream of course after supper every night. You won't go wrong.

I recently had the opportunity to sample the salted caramel ice cream at Mr. G's and found it absolutely delicious! My two sisters and Mom chose other flavors but after trying mine they wished they had decided upon the salted caramel too! I will definitely chose that flavor next time I am in town.

It was a pleasant, 10 minute walk after dinner and definitely worth the trip. Charming little shop, plenty of traffic on a Friday night, friendly employees. We both had the Salted Caramel ice cream, (generous) single scoops in a waffle cone. I had planned to get the pumpkin or the espresso mini chocolate chip but asked for a taste of... More

This charming small boutique ice cream shop has as many flavors as one could want, served by charming and attractive staff. Cones, shakes, floats and drinks can be had and enjoyed in a quaint sitting area. Great for family's.

How do you chose an ice cream shop in a town with so many? We were in Gettysburg for the Civil War battlefield so we chose the shop with the bullet holes in the wall. The man who opened the door for us turned out to be Mr. G. He should be called Mr. Hospitality. He showed us the Civil... More

We went and had really delicious chocolate ice cream. The atmosphere was perfect. There was a singer outside and people just mellowed out from a day of touring the battlefield.
