Had the hard serve ice cream, and it was great. Cookie dough got the thumbs up, and the Sea Salt caramel was terrific. Ring game outside was fun too.

Don't leave Gettysburg without visiting Mr. G's in the heart of downtown Gettysburg. The ice cream is homemade and the portions are generous.Beware...you might have to stand in line...it is that good!

We tried each day we were there six different flavors. Our favorite was the Peanut Butter and the Strawberry. They had great service and it was worth the cost of a dip of ice cream.

Great atmosphere, delicious ice cream (nice selection too!), and very friendly service! Owner gave our group a history lesson on the building. Will definitely go back again!

I, along with a group of friends, were in Gettysburg this past weekend (April 3rd to 6, 2014), when there we always want to get some ice cream. I remembered going to Mr. G's a year ago and wanted to go back. I had a delicious vanilla milkshake, it was really good!! The location is perfect, plenty of seats, inside... More

My boyfriend had a chocolate milkshake which he enjoyed. If you want a family friendly stop with a lot of options, this is a great... More

Have had many years of great ice cream from Mr Gs. There are many rotating flavors to choose from. Don't pass by without stopping for a scoop or two of ice cream.

We were just out walking the streets exploring Gettysburg and came upon this gem. You have to make it a stop on your next visit. A lovely little garden and park are across the street so you can take your treat there. Before coming into the parlor for your treat, try your hand at the toss game outside. Fun

The ice cream here is delish! The pumpkin ice cream was to die for! They make their own waffle bowls and the smell is heavenly!

Do go...if you like ice cream! Oh, it was sooo sooo good! :) I even saw the bullet holes from the Civil War in the wood. Wow!
