The thing I love about this place is that it is in shown in most old Gettysburg pictures. Loved sitting under the witness tree and eating ice cream while the kids played the ring game. Worth a stop!

If you want good ice cream Mr. G's has it but go during the day so you don't have to wait in line. Good variety and friendly service. There is a fair amount of outside seating at benches and tables.

Mr G's is without a doubt, the most delicious ice cream. I found the people that work there aren't that friendly, but who cares, as long as I get to have that ice cream. The consistency, the flavors, the ambiance. I definitely recommend Mr.G's to anyone who loves a delicious ice cream. :)

We can't go to Gettysburg without stopping at Mr. G's. Love it! Fresh, locally made ice cream, what could be better?

I've been here a few times over the last year and as much as I want to like it, it's just average. Staff doesn't appear to want to be there, maybe because it's all high school kids. The ice cream itself is pretty average and not memorable.

The lines get deservedly long at this place. It is worth the wait, my sons really enjoyed their shake, my bride her float, my sundae was great. Just visit and try it, you will like it, you will like it, you will see!!

When I say ice cream my grandkids say "Mr G's!". This is always a special treat for them. If I suggest we try another place I'm hit with a barrage of opposition. I'm perfectly happy there - the salted caramel ice cream with chunks of Rolos is so yummy!! Not only is the ice cream at Mr G's always good,... More

Great homemade ice cream, great prices and portion size, great atmosphere. Beautiful historic location, and ample parking at the middle school behind the store.

This is a family favorite stop for ice cream! We can walk to Mr. G's from our home and love the walk, the ice cream, and the beautiful surroundings in this great town. Always good flavors of homemade ice cream, my favorite is the salted caramel!

Mr. G's is the best! Warm and friendly atmosphere. All the ice cream scoopers are pleasant and friendly, even when they are mega busy. The flavors change, so you can enjoy a yummy variety of ice cream treats. The have those sweet waffle cone bowls that I just love. It's also roomy and conducive to hanging out and chatting with...
