Open 7 days for lunch & dinner, The Garryowen, or “The GO” as it’s know to our regulars, is as inviting as any pub found back in the old country with friendly service, a large selection of Irish whiskies, the best of Ireland’s draft beers, and the perfect pour of Guinness which is complimented with a carefully picked selection of international and domestic premium beers, wines and spirits. Our kitchen prepares the most authentic Irish fare in the area from the owners’ family recipes, with many ingredients imported directly from Ireland. Paired with traditional pub fare, made in house daily from scratch with local ingredients where possible. Our menu is sure to satisfy the most discerning of tastes. Enjoy your meal in our cozy dining room, by the fireplace or at the bar.The first and third Sundays of each month are a special treat for lovers of Irish music, with a traditional 'Seisun' from 2 til 5pm. Thursday nights ring out with an open jam hosted by local musician Ben “Ben-Jammin” Wenk from 9pm.Reservations are highly recommended for parties of 6 or more.

I have been to Garryown Irish Pub several times when traveling to Gettysburg, Pa. and it is one of the best places I have eaten. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and wonderfu. The staff is friendly and strike up a conversation about the pub and the town. So nice to get insider information and stories. The food is pub grub... More

This restaurant had pictures of the Titanic and an exposed beam on the ceiling. There were many authentic Irish fare items on the menu to choose from. We got their red pepper and crab soup which was delicious. The onion rings were very good. I had the Gaelic shrimp with fresh asparagus cooked perfectly and my husband got the sausage... More

We had a great time having drinks and dinner here. They had a great selection of drafts including Kilkenny, Murphy's, and Guinness. Dinner was excellent, everyone at the table enjoyed their dinner. I had the salmon special that our waiter raved about. It was great. And speaking of our waiter, he was great. I don't remember his name but if... More

Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Ice cold drinks. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service. Seemed to be more locals than tourists. A nice, dark, cool place to relax and recharge from all the sightseeing.

My boyfriend and I were there on May 10 for lunch. I had just a burger, but my boyfriend opted for the lamb hamburger -- and was it ever good! So good, in fact that we tried to get back there for dinner last night (May 11) and there was an 1:45 minute wait! He was craving that lamb hamburger.... More

Dined @ the pub on 5/11. Pastrami sandwich with onions, Swiss & garlic mayo as well as the fish & chips, were great. Fine selection of Irish brews and whiskey and all at a reasonable price! Derrick, our waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgable. He made helpful recommendations and made my sisters and mom feel quite welcome. Would happily dine... More

Very enjoyable restaurant--old pub atmosphere and the shepherds pie was a delicious home-style cooking entree.

As you travel through Gettysburg and its streets of history, check out this wonderful Irish Pub and grill. The decor is great, very authentic. They have there own brew, very tasty. The fish and chips...oh my. The upstairs was closed in the afternoon when we arrive but we were invited to look around. Nice folks here.

Good selection of food. I got the patty melt and it was wonderful. Staff were very nice, professional, and quick with the food.
