Short wait - good meal

The service was a bit slow for a table, but it was a lovely evening so we waited outside. My cheeseburger was very good with a nice salad. My companion had a Reuben with a good report! Generous serving of fries. The style of fries evidently in this part of the country is big and not extremely... read more

Gettysburg Eddies is a little restaurant on the quiet side of Gettysburg. Just as the title says, it is everything you want. If you are on vacation with your family it is a nice place to take everyone. It has friendly waiters and a clean bar with TV's. One time I even got to watch the Steelers while eating a... More

The checkin at the Quality Inn told us about this place. We just drove 10 hours and couldn't wait to chill ! The food is really good and the beer was so nice and cold. Everyone was really nice to us.

My wife and I were there to do a ghost tour and decided to stop in. I would recommend this eatery to anyone who likes great food and a comfortable atmosphere. Great location (close to everything); food and drinks were very good. We will be back.

I get up to Gettysburg a couple of times a year and know the local stops pretty well. This is a place I like to stop. The service is quick and friendly, the prices reasonable and the food tasty, but hit it for dinner. whenever I go in there at midday the place smells of dishwater, this has happened the... More

When we asked the hotel staff "what is a good restaurant with good steaks" we were told Gettysburg Eddie's right down the street. Well they sure do know their stuff. The place is great. The food was better than we expected, our waiter was friendly and helpful. My husband had steak and crab meat and I had steak and shrimp.... More

The fact that they have a parking lot is a plus. Now the food is a different story. I asked the waitress if she recommended steak and she said most definitely. So I ordered the NY strip at $22. It comes with salad and 2 sides. I would tell the owners to forgo the 2 sides and upgrade the quality... More

From the instant I seen a baseball themed restaurant in a civil war town I was skeptical. It seems oddly out of place to say the least, besides the Eddie plank/Gettysburg connection. Food was very good. Service was a bit slow and server seemed very distracted despite the lull in business. The server had a heavy perfume on which is... More
