Not a very large restaurant. We called for reservations and they do not take them. We were very lucky, we arrived at 7:15 with a party of six and were seated right away. The waitress was not very knowledgeable of the menu. when we asked she said everything was good. We all know that "everything" is not what we want... More

We were tired from traveling. Had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Menu had many choices but I just could not decide. Husband finally decided on the fried cod. They were out of onion rings. He thought the fish was delicious and ordered a second order of the fried apple fritters. Would recommend it but if back in... More

I was tired and needed to get work done so I called and ordered take out. They had it ready for me at the agreed to time. It was a really good burger and salad. I have been to GE's before and will definitely be back again.

If you're looking for a deli/pub style restaurant in Gettysburg close to the battlefield, then this is the place. The food was great and we actually ended up eating here twice: once for lunch, and once for dinner. Both times the service and meal were very good and prices reasonable. Very down-to-earth, homey, comfortable atmosphere.

We stop here occasionally when visiting gettysburg. We love the burgers, my favorite is the pasta salad as my side! No problems with service at all.

This restaurant is named after a baseball player that was born not long after the Civil War and close to Gettysburg. There is baseball trivia around the dining room. The waitress was attentive and the food very tasty. We ordered 3 appetizers to share and enjoyed all of them. There is a sports bar in the back of the building with... More

We were visiting Gettysburg and stopped in here for a late lunch. The food portions are huge, and it's so delicious you will want to eat every bit! The servers are very friendly, energetic and the food arrived quickly. I would highly recommend this place for great food in a casual surrounding.

We went with a group of nine on a Saturday evening. They were very busy; but our service was superb. The food was delivered hot and timely and the meals were delicious. Our server was most accomodating and took care of all our needs. They were even gracious enough to turn the TV to the Pittsburgh Pirate game for us.... More
