Great lunch at Cafe Saint Amand - good Pain Bagnat

Great lunch at cafe St Amand: my husband had a croque monsieur, I had the pain bagnat (a nicoise salad sandwich). Both were very good. The portions are not gigantic but they were plenty for us.

Only here as part of our walking food tour. Had the flourless chocolate cake and coffee and it was amazing. Amazing enough that i'm writing a review just for it. Overall the restaurant was clean, neat and had a great atmosphere. wish we had time to go back to eat a meal but ran out of time in gburg.

Looking at the Tripadvisor reviews, this looked like a good place for breakfast. We loved it so much we came back the next day. Can't go wrong with the Belgian Waffles and anything involving a croissant.

We ate here 3 times for breakfast on our recent trip. We are completely dumbfounded as to why this is not rated better!?? We never had lunch there so maybe their lunches are terrible but their breakfasts are reasonably priced and delicious. We tried the following: French Toast (doesn't get any better than this!), Crepes (again, delicious!), croissant sammich (super... More

We were looking forward to lunch here, as we hadn't had crepes in awhile, but were disappointed by the quality of the food. Not only the crepes, but all the sides were just average too. We didn't fill up, so we ordered 2 desserts to split among the 4 of us. One was pretty good, but the other seemed really... More

We had heard about how good the food was here, and it is! The food is unbelievable, but the service has A LOT to be desired. We had breakfast, our waitress came to the table twice (one to take the order and once to bring it). The waitress made rude comments to the table next to ours, when asked if... More

My husband, myself, and my 3 year old son had Sunday morning breakfast here. The food was delicious, but we waited a good 10 minutes for our check after we had completed our meal. Also, ask for a booth, they have freestanding tables in the center of the restaurant. We sat there and it feels like everyone is staring at... More

During our short stay in Gettsburg, I have to admit we came here twice! My favorites were the Chicken Crepes and the Strawberry and Cream Crepes! We also had the French Onion Soup and my husband had a sandwich he enjoyed. It is informal so need to get dressed up. Really enjoyed this little piece of France!

Sitting here finishing up a great lunch. Brittany has given us superb service. Loved the French Onion Soup. Sandwiches were great. Turkey roast and monte cristo. Apple pecan crepe for dessert. Homemade chips, incredible potato salad. Coming back for breakfast and maybe dinner.
