We enjoyed a sit down breakfast here one morning in late November Nice selection of French favorites - crepes, croissants, and much more. Would recommend their freshly made croissants and their house blend coffee.

I went to the Cafe for both breakfast and for dinner. The staff was really accommodating and professional. I ordered trout which came with roasted potatoes. I found the sauce on the trout to be a little too rich for me, but loved the potatoes! I had a muffin for breakfast, which was fine.

Dined on a Saturday evening, the warm goat cheese salad is absolutely delicious, big serving. My Husband had leek and potato soup very tasty. We both had Chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes and green beans, Portions were large and very good. We brought our own bottle of wine, they do not charge a corking fee. The desserts looked amazing,... More

Very nice atmosphere, but a little pricey on desserts. Stopped in for coffee and dessert to get in from the cold. Coffee was great and the apple tart was very tasty, but a little pricey at $5.50 per slice. Lunch menu looked interesting.

I had an excellent salad Niciose - the tuna was perfectly cooked rare. I also had a stet et fromage crepe that was excellent with the steak tender and grilled to a fine medium rare. My daughter had a berry and crème crepe that was also excellent. We took home an apple apple tart and a lemon tart which tasted... More

When you want/need a break from Civil War history, go here! Wonderful spacious cafe in downtown Gettysburg, with a lovely French inspired menu. We had lunch here on a winter Saturday, and really enjoyed the experience. Scrambled egg crepe was yummy, if a bit on the small side. Ratatouille crepe very flavorful, though the veggies could have been a little... More

Just had dinner over the weekend at the Cafe' St-Amand and it was outstanding. We were looking for a French restaurant in the area and Cafe' St.-Amand was highly recommended by friends. We called ahead and asked the chef if he could make a special entree for us for our anniversary and he did so in a spectacular fashion. We... More

My boyfriend and I ate here on a Sunday morning for brunch. It was busy when we arrived at about 11am, but not packed, and we were seated right away. It definitely has a very casual feel to it and our service was very prompt. We knew it was BYOB so brought some champagne to make mimosas, and the waitress... More

Breakfast was so wonderful the first morning that we came back the next day. This place had a wonderful selection for breakfast. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The lattes were hands down better than Starbucks. That's saying a lot since I'm a die hard Starbucks fan. We will be back the next time we are in town. Excellent place!

We made a reservation for a Saturday night for 6 people. We were greeted and seated promptly. We had absolutely no problem with the service. The atmosphere is cozy and felt very welcoming. We ordered a variety of entrees : chicken franchise, salmon, soups and spicy shrimp and scallops. Everyone enjoyed their food. The entrees were hot ad fresh. We... More
