I am really confused as to why Cafe St Amand is not higher on the list of restaurants in Gettysburg. The food is amazing and while the wait staff was a bit unorganized, it certainly didn't become an issue. We had the Croque madame, a banana-nutella crepe, and an amazing croissant stuffed with brie and topped with raspberry coulis. I... More

The service here is always amazing and it is only second to the truly great food they serve ,They have the Croque Madame which is the best my husband has ever had and their breakfast menu is the best in town

Be sure to have the time for this restaurant... the kitchen is SLOOOWWWWW. Excellent food... nice atmosphere, friendly attentive waitresses. I eat here every year during our vacation and every year I am amazed at how slow the kitchen is. No fault of the waitresses... I firmly believe its the kitchen. With that being said... the food is so good... More

In town for a wedding so stopped for lunch. The food was just OK, could have made a tastier sandwich at home. Bathroom was dingy. Wouldn't go back.

Gettysburg is a place full of history but it is also full of people in the summer. The rush to see all the sights and do some shopping can get a little crazy. We stopped in Cafe Saint-Amand on a weekday morning and felt like " aaahh, peace!" The soft music and relaxing atmosphere were a respite for us. The... More

We spent 3 weeks in France last summer so we were excited to see a French restaurant with classic French dishes on the menu. We went for lunch and my son had what he regularly had in France, Croque Madame. I will say, however, that it was Americanized, ie supersized. It was loaded with ham and my 15 year old... More

Located in close proximity to Lincoln Square, this restaurant was a pleasant breakfast stop for us. Had the Croque Madam and the egg w bacon crepe, both of which were delicious. Good coffee and very attentive service. We defitely plan stop in again the next time we are in Gettysburg.

A little bit of a hassle, you have to feed the meter to park and we didn't have change on us. Their air conditioning was out, thank goodness it was 8 in the morning. The breakfast was great, we had the Croque Madame and the Steak and Cheese crepes. Friendly service, cute decor, Ikea-ish. The desserts in the dessert case... More

First of all, let me put it out there that CSA is BYOB. If you don't mind that, you will love it here. Great waitress named Caitlin, who was timely and friendly. The food is good, too. Speaking of, even though it's BYOB, you will get a complimentary glass of wine with every ENTREE item. A bit pricey but worth... More

I'd walked by this place for years in Gettysburg. I really wasn't interested because I thought it was all French cuisine (childishly thinking snails) and expensive for some reason. My husband talked me into going in one day for lunch. The food was GREAT, AFFORDABLE and there was a nice variety on the menu. I ate the caramel French toast... More
