A quaint little lunch

When we were on our vacation in Gettysburg, we wanted to try the Cafe Saint-Amand. The food was good and there were many options. The service was good, too. The price was reasonable. It was a nice atmosphere with various paintings hung up around the dining room. The food was very good, too. We got... read more

Stopped in here to buy some b-fast to go and an iced café latte. The service was quick and the Croque Monsieur was wonderful. It had a different flair, but still absolutely yummy. Good vibe and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals. Will definitely come back.

I had the turkey birstro on a French Baguette with the best fresh fruit EVER and my friend had a tuna melt on wheat bread with a pasta salad that she loved. We both would have gone back the next day had time allowed. Wonderful sandwiches and great service.

Nice little bistro, diagonally across from the Courthouse in downtown Gettysburg. Parking can be difficult to find. Food is very good with an interesting variety of choices. Eggplant pesto sandwich is very good, with pasta salad side.

I have been to this restaurant several times with my friend, who thinks it's great, although I have yet to have wither good food or service here. On Sunday, 23 August, five friends went to the Cafe for brunch. My friend had made a 12:15 PM reservation earlier in the week. When we arrived, the restaurant was full. We told... More

The waitress was terrible. My wife asked for creme for her coffee and she point to the wall and said it's over there on a table. My wife got up and said where and the waitress gave a sigh and ran over grabbed and then slammed it on our table. I was like wow. Sorry we showed up. We decided... More

Based on the reviews, we expected a bit more. On entering the restaurant, we found it to have a slightly musty smell. A sign indicated that we were to seat ourselves, which we did. The service was OK. The waitperson was not overly friendly, and only adequately attentive. Still, the drinks and food did arrive quickly. The food ordered was... More

Food was okay and no complaints about the service; it was good. There was hardly anyone there when we went. The only complaint is the carpeting which had a slight odor. Probably because the place has just opened for service in the morning.

I'm Gettysburg for a short visit and had breakfast one time, my daughter selected this place. Excellent service and really good food! My daughter-in-law was particularly enamored with the Banana with Nutella Crepes. I had an omelet with really good bacon & cheese. Daughter had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant that she said was "yummy". I'm sure if we... More

This was my favorite restaurant in Gettysburg; I wish we had gone again, but we like to try as many as possible. We ate here for breakfast. I had the Croque Monsieur, which was delicious. The coffee is also perfect. Service was quick and very pleasant. French inspired atmosphere and menu. A refreshing choice and change from the usual.
