Went there after reading some positive reviews but really wasn't expecting that much except a good meal. Unfortunately expectations were not met. The first clue should have been when we got the menus and mine had a good portion of the plastic inside cover missing. The chicken nachos we ordered came out very quickly but the cheese was what can... More

My children insisted that I write a review for this restaurant. We had just finished our private tour and we were starved. I remembered reading reviews that stated the service was fast here. Thankfully for us, it was true. We sat down and were immediately served tortilla chips, which made all of us very happy. We thought there were a... More

Montezuma's is just like every other Mexican restaurant around the area. The menu is nearly identical to other restaurants in surrounding towns. Notwithstanding, the food is always great, your drink never gets empty and you never have to ask for more chips and salsa. Montezuma's stands out because of how amazingly fast they bring out your food. You could hang... More

Every fajita dish smelt burned. The food was tasteless. Service was ok. We asked for a mild salsa. The first person did not understand what we wer asking for. Then they brought out another dish of salsa heated.

My boyfriend and I have been going to this restaurant since we discovered it a year and a half ago. We always order the taco salad--his with beef and no sour cream, mine with chicken. It is always perfect. The staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is themed appropriately but not cheesy. It's the best Mexican food for Americanized... More

After discovering it years ago, my son and I have traveled far out of our way to visit this restaurant many a time. Every visit the food, the service, the value have remained consistently excellent. "Para una comida mejicana muy sabrosa" north of Texas, this place never fails to satisfy. The plates are well presented and the staff have always... More

Food was very good and priced right. Service was good and fast. Our only complaint was the very loud Spanish radio station that was played so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk. We asked that it be turned down and it was. But right before we left it was back on full blast.

Always crowded Montezuma has delicious Mexican food and very inexpensive lunch specials Monday thru Wednesday. Love the huevos rancheros.

A local suggested we eat at Montezuma, after we'd said we'd eaten at different Mexican restaurant and loved it but it was closed on Mondays. Um. We should've just gone for something else. It's not that it was bad -- it just wasn't great. Love chips and salsa...these didn't taste like they were homemade. They tasted totally store bought. Ditto... More

Great Mexican meal. Chips & salsa complimentary. Always busy with the locals. Service is great - no place to get faster food besides "fast food". Prices are very reasonable.
