I'm not normally a Mexican food person, but I enjoy variety. This is our best meal in town -- nicely away from all the ice cream shops and more touristy trappings a few blocks away. Hot food, fast service, hot chips to start the meal. Only complaint is the staff stood around the kitchen pass through talking with each other... More

I visited the Montezuma solo a few Fridays ago on a trip to Gettysburg. I had had a large lunch and didn't want a lot for dinner. The restaurant was busy but I got a table immediately, my drink order was taken and I was given nachos and salsa (no alcohol served here). I ordered 2 tacos with refried beans... More

You will find good food for reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and it is located in heart of city. However, I would add that they need to do some more detailed cleaning! I sat next to window with blinds that looked as if they had not been dusted in quite a while. It does make you wonder about kitchen.

A large group of us ate here on June 21st and everyone one of us that paid with debit or credit card had fraudulent charges on our accounts within 7-14 days. We were obvious out of state tourists, who had no locations in common since we all came into Gettysburg from different cities. I guess they didn't think we would... More

The exterior looks like a fast food dive, interior is better, booths are comfortable. The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious and not expensive. We had chicken fajitas and enchiladas. Would definitely return.

We couldn't decide where to go for dinner while visiting Gettysburg. We decided on Mexican then I used tripadvisor to chose the restaurant. We are a large family and decided to do carryout so we could eat in the park. Imagine our disappointment when out of the ten entrees we ordered only TWO were correct. Our requests weren't extraordinary. I... More

I won't say this is the best Mexican food I've ever had, but it IS good! And the service is always super fast and friendly. I recommend anything with Texana in the name, the Fajita Burrito or the Chile Rellana. Only thing I wouldn't get is the tacos. If you go M-Th for lunch, most lunch items are $4-5!

We found this restaurant by using Siri on our phone. We wanted something a little different and thought why not Mexican. Good and fast service. The food was excellent and the price was very reasonable.

Full disclosure: this was probably not "one of the best meals I've even had in a restaurant" (the question I just had to answer), but it WAS one of the very best for the price! In fact, it was so good I ate there (and had the same meal) two-out-of-two nights I was in Gettysburg, and would excitedly return if... More
