A group of us went to lunch here a few weeks back. It was my first time there. The place & decor is absolutely amazing. Having grown up in West Orange, but moved away years ago, this was a pleasant addition to my home town. And the view was beautiful!! I wish I would have ordered the Sunday buffet because... More

I live less than a mile from McLoone 's and wanted so badly for it to be a place that I would go regularly but the food and service has been less than average on each visit. It is a beautiful building with a lakefront view to die for --however--until the food gets better it will not be at its... More

Went with a group following company holiday party on a Friday evening. Nice bar with a good selection of beers, not nearly enough bartenders for the crowd that was there. Very nice atmosphere don't lean against fireplace someone always leaves their drink on it to spill on you.

4 of us tried the restaurant a few months ago. We were all disappointed in both the service and the food, which was also overpriced. Maybe I am too old for the bar scene, but that's what this place is to me. The place is centered around a noisy bar, which also serves food. Atmosphere is nice, but that's where... More

Ambiance is excellent, service is good. Portions are rather small, and the food, although very good, is very pricey.

Stopped in on the Friday after Thanksgiving for a drink at the bar. Wonderful cocktails, great service and surprisingly good bar snacks. Wish they had the outside fire pits going, but otherwise a lovely respite from the holiday overload.

For the past 5 years, we have been eating out on Thanksgiving. This year, we figured to try McLoone's Thanksgiving buffet. Appetizers were excellent... peel and eat shrimp, oysters, caesar salad and the butternut squash soup was so good I went for seconds despite this being a big no-no in buffet strategy (never get the soup to try and save... Let's start with the atmosphere, Lively and upbeat. Diners and drinkers, families and friends, business and intimate. Very chic and modern decor, fireplaces inside and pits outside. The bar is huge and the bar staff knowledgeable. They have a speciality drink menu, try the 07050 drink it is dedicated to Orange a local town, it HITS it out of the... More

We decided to try a series of Sunday Brunches in our area. McLoone's was on the list and they had a great spread of food. It included an omelette station, shrimp, a carving station, fresh baked goods and countless other choices as well as a spread of deserts. Everything was tops except tje deserts which were just average but, not... More

We were there for a party so we didn't choose from their regular menu, but I must say that the quality of the food and the service was very good. They had the usual buffet selections and all were fresh and tasty from the salads to the chicken and the fish. The venue was beautiful; it had that country club... More
