I have been here several times for business, with both large parties and with just a few colleagues. Nice varied menu, though a bit on the pricey side. The service has always been good. This visit was with a party of 15 and there was at least one other large party being served at the same time. Our food came... More

I love this building and it's location but they could do so much more with their menu. There seems to be a contradiction in their advertising. They say it's family style yet it's very expensive for a family. The food seems appropriate for family style dining however I would rather see it as an upscale restaurant for adults with more... Go here for the outdoor area. Have a drink overlooking the reservation... Happy hour is great value.

Had lunch there with friends a few times. Great atmosphere, food good, but not exceptional. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would go for the view.

First time we go to the Boathouse for Brunch. Lots to choose from. The kids had plenty to eat and the adults really enjoyed the mimosas

I met a date here on a Friday night and the patrons were friendly. My first bartender, a jovial Asian guy, was super congenial, and our waiter in the dining room was definitely up on his A-game, but the second bartender who came around, a man about 50-ish, closed my tab and would not budge on re-ringing it or adding... Had lunch at McLoone's Boathouse in December with our daughter and her mother-in-law from Raleigh after visiting our granddaughter's school in Summit. Food were well prepared and presented and the service was good. The view of the lake was beautiful, and warming with the fireplace indoor. Definitely will return.

There's absolutely NOTHING special about this place. The view is of dirty water - only appealing to someone living in a desert! It's close to the zoo, but you don't see anything to let you know that in the view. And if I'm not going to the zoo, that's unimportant to me. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a Golden Corral...
