Called in during a day shopping in Chester and were hooked by the offer of 2 for 1 cocktails and 20% off food bill (on thursday). My girlfriend had the jerk belly pork and I had a selection from the tapas menu. All dishes were excellent, first time eating goat curry and would definitely have it again. Service was friendly... We had a great time at this bar two weeks ago. Happy hour meant daiquiris were half price. Read in yesterday's Philly inquirer this place closed. Call first

This is the place to go when you are tired of the typical Irish style pub and you want something with some sweet kick. We went there during a night out with friends after catching a show at Helium.

Did not try the food because we were saving room for Tinto but the cocktails alone are worth the trip. Loved their sweet/savory novelty mojitos made with house infused rums especially the ones with cucumber rum and hot pepper rum. The bartender Lee was friendly, efficient and offered great advice on drinks. We will be back to try the food... More

My friend and I love the rum bar! We were in Philly for two nights-- and both nights we went to Rum Bar! Great selection of rums-- including Belizean and Guatemalan rums that we love and can't find anywhere else. Food is great as well-- we had top notch crabcake sliders and ceviche. Great atmosphere, nice servers-- love it!

This is my favorite bar ever! They had a six page menu of different rums. The bartenders were very friendly and suggested drinks for the different rums. I had a mojito and a caipirinha that were very STRONG and delicious. I will make sure to visit everytime I go to Philly!

The guacamole and the empanadas were AMAZING! They have a very large drink selection. The restaurant is small and cozy.

Rum Bar, in addition to being extremely well stocked on a wide variety of rums, has great vision when it comes to Caribbean food. I checked them out last year during restaurant week and keep going back for more.

Don't expect a laid-back, tourist-centric hideaway - all the locals know about Adam Kanter's Rum Bar. Casually elegant and superb food! I've never, ever had a bad meal there, and they do Caribbean fusion right. The bar staff is equally well trained; whether you're at a table or snuggled up to the eco-friendly bar (made of sorghum stalks, it's beautiful)... More
