Nan Zhou is not fancy the the food is excellent. The lamb noodles (soup) were excellent. As good or better than any I ever had in China. The scallion pancakes were addictive and the meat and chive dumplings were delicious! Two orders of noodles, lamb and veggie with fried egg, scallion pancake, order of dumplings came to $21.00. The quantity... More

Stopped in for dinner and can't begin to explain the majesty that is the duck noodle soup. There are a ton of noodles in a flavorful broth, chunks of duck and it's great. Got a veggie stir fried noodles, curry dumplings, and chicken soup too. The noodles are great, hearty and plentiful. A bowl is like 6.50, an the service... More

We went on Saturday during a long weekend so the place was completely packed. We didn't have to wait for a table since we went in about 4 pm, but by the time we were leaving, the line was out the door and down the street! The service was quick and the hand-drawn noodles were served in enormous bowls with... More

We went here on a friend's recommendation and were not disappointed. It was my family's (mother-in-law, two small kids) first visit to a noodle house, and the server was very patient and precise in describing the dishes. We didn't get to watch the noodles being made as closely as we would have liked. The restaurant itself is small and clean.... More

This is a fantastic deal- huge bowls of noodles in broth for about $7 a bowl. Easy to walk to and lots to see in the adjacent area.

Oh how I wish CA had a place like this. While my lunch buddy had the hand pulled noodle soup with beef tendon (the best!!!), I ate the shaved noodle soup with roast pork (cha siu in CA terminology). While my soup was large in portion and great to eat on a snowy day, the beef tendon had the better... More

Came here with a group of 4. It takes a little time to get seated during lunch but it is worth the wait. The meal comes with hot tea and there is a selection of bubble tea smoothies. The meatball soup and seafood hand drawn noodle dishes were delicious. Our colleagues who had meat noodle dishes were not as happy... More

I got the stir fried noodles, my wife got the noodles with tendon, and the daughter got the spicy noodles. They were tremendous and these type of noodles have always been a family favorite. They are from china and very judgemental on noodles. I had some meatball soup, it has nice broth and nice meatballs. I honestly couldn't say if... More

Nan Zhou is a staple in Philly's Chinatown and for good reason. The noodles are the star here and they either come in various kinds of soup or in various kinds of stir fries. For those that don't know, hand drawn noodles are like spaghetti and are made in the traditional Chinese method of beating and stretching the dough. The... More

Great place for fresh noodles with broth. Also had the turnips which were crunchy, a little spicy and very good. 8 People $70, can't beat that for good filling food.
