This small restaurant in a highly multi cultural neighborhood puts out some of the most creative dishes in Philadelphia. Every plate has the most perfect of taste and texture combinations from soup to sashimi, fish to fowl to beef. I personally would prefer some lighter, fruitier desserts, but my dinner companions never agree, BYO makes the m

Wonderful fresh ingredients and interesting, but small menu. All ingredients are fresh. The menu is small and changes daily. Small and cozy (about 8 tables). BYOB (we brought wine) and they will chill and serve it to you. Be prepared to order more than you think because everything is very small but extremely special. The service was impeccable and the... BYOB, cash only! An absolutely lovely experience. Intimate atmosphere, and top notch food with gorgeous presentation. My husband and I dine out often so it's wonderful to be able to still find a restaurant that surprises us with new pairings and flavors. The scallops were perfection, the escargot was refreshing and light (as opposed to being drowned in butter or... More

.... and good value. We came for the Mother's Day prix fixe dinner and did not have trouble securing a reservation. Confirmation of my Open Table request was nearly immediate. We were seated immediately and offered our choices. We each had a delicious cauliflower soup garnished with edible flowers and raisins soaked in verjus poured elegantly at table. My husband... More

Tiny place, but justifiably packed. We enjoyed the 5 course Sunday dinner. Delicious food and superior service. Pack your favorite wine and enjoy.

Four of us did the Sunday 5-course prix fixe dinner for a birthday occasion. The food and service at this cash-only BYOB were outstanding The service was the best I have had in a long time in the Philly area, including high-end venues. Pumpkin has a small, intimate setting. Many area restaurants are prone to be noisy, but not here.... More

This place rocked. It's a tiny little place, but that added to its charm. It's BYOB, and therefore saves you some money on alcohol, but the prices for the food make up for that a bit... You'll spend some money, but the food is worth it. My favorite dishes were the scallops on a bed of squid ink orzo with... More

Fantastic meal. Loved the foie gras pbj appetizer and Camembert. Cod was nice, chocolate cake terrific. I didn't love the broccoli rabe. Decor interesting, including the marble tables. Noise level low. I couldnt believe how inexpensive I can't wait to go back. BYOB

Small restaurant, but the food is fantastic! Went for restaurant week with a limited menu, but OMG, everything was fantastic. Service was beyond the call of duty. Escargot was to die for, the duck was heavenly, mushroom toast with hollandaise ( could of just made that a meal, if there was a tray of them) and the goat cheese cheesecake... More

We went to Pumpkin Restaurant on South street for restaurant week. Restaurant is super tiny with one unisex bathroom (if you have to go, stay in line soon!!) Food was delicious! Make sure to try the pork belly - it is one of the best I've ever tried! the duck just fell off the bone - no knife needed. The... More
