Service was great. Ambiance was nice. Not too loud. Food was very fresh and tastefully prepared. Prices were very reasonable for a downtown restaurant. I would definitely return.

Went with a friend for lunch. Drinks were good. My chicken sandwich was just ok. Hummus appetizer was good. Service was good. I've been here before and would go back. Sitting in the window is nice and finding street parking is easy.

I was up for the weekend and stayed in a nearby hotel when I walked past this restaurant. What attracted my eye was the name which I really thought was "farmacia" = pharmacy in Spanish because I was looking for one. Once I got closer, I realized that it was actually a restaurant. The décor was interesting along with the... More

We drove up to Philly for the day, and happened upon this resturant. We stopped in for lunch. I noticed on the menu a quesadilla with eggs and potatoes?....had to give it a try. It was very good! Totally, changed my idea of how to make a quesadilla. My wife's fruit bowl was surprisingly fresh and flavorful. Very enjoyable meal,... More

I had a fantastic Brunch Experience at Farmicia! The food was delicious and the service was fast. I would also recommend the mimosas.... they were fantastic. We look forward to coming back on our next visit! I would recommend reservations, as it can get crowded, especially on weekends!

Our dinner at Farmica was one was one of my more enjoyable meals of the year. We started off at the bar and enjoyed very well prepared cocktails. When we sat down the Metropolitan Bakery bread was great. From there our appetizers and entrees were very good. The selections cover all bases from vegetarian to carnivore. It seemed everyone at... Visiting Old City for the day, we observed lots of people going in, what the heck, we followed and had a terrific breakfast, my husband enjoyed the grits and I enjoyed the sausage. Many many hours later, we went back for the in between lunch and dinner menu, not bad for a small light meal, ordered the tuna over spinach,... More

We came here for lunch after a play. Had my two granddaughters who had eaten here before. The are six and ten and they were well accommodated with their little substitutions to the regular menu. I had the lox and egg salad sandwich which was a first for me. Was quite a nice combo. We had a 2:00 pm reservation... More

Farmicia was recommended to us because we were entertaining clients and had to accommodate both a vegan and a certified carnivore. Farmicia's menu had plenty of options and everyone enjoyed their meal. The specialty cocktails were excellent too.

This is the second visit to Farmicia. Had breakfast on a previous visit. Always busy, did make a reservation. Looks like the place to go for the young & hip for Sunday brunch. Good portions. I had the shrimp & grits; large flavorful shrimp, tender & not over cooked. Lots of yummy bacon pieces, tomatoes, & grits flavorful. Husband had... More
