My son and his girlfriend selected this spot for us to meet up with out-of-town friends. Our cocktails were delicious and waiter,Tim, very friendly. Tim was also helpful in explaining the food selections. Our group shared Stuffed Squash Blossom Appetizers that were delicious. The enchilada app were also very good. Our entrees were well prepared and flavorful without being overbearing.... More

We grabbed brunch hear after a nice weekend in Philly. The food was fine but nothing wowed my socks off. I would have liked ot have seen a little more creativity on the menu, but overall a solid, can't go wrong choice.

The decor of the restaurant and outdoor seating was my favorite part of the experience. That, and the waitress brought out a nice water bowl for our dog. We visited for brunch. I ordered the grilled hummus and avocado pita - however, it wasn't grilled which was disappointing (just plain, cold pita bread- and it was small. What was on my... More

The menu has plenty to choose from - I had Vietnamese style grilled squid for an app, and duck for main course. Both were quite good. The restaurant is very spacey/open - perfect for a large outing. The location is great - a few blocks from Independence Hall. Service friendly.

It was four years ago on a business trip to Philadelphia that I found this restaurant and was interested to see how it had changed. The restaurant is much larger than it looks from the road, with a prominent bar area in the centre of the floor area. The menu had much of interest and we had some difficulty deciding... More

After a long day of kid-friendly activities (I took one for the team) I was ready to eat somewhere of my own selfish choosing. That's when Farmicia appeared, like a ray of light, as we walked down a random Philly street. The food here is great - no doubt about it. I had a crab salad with avocado and it... More

We enjoyed Sunday brunch at Farmacia. I ordered the egg white omelet with spinach and mushrooms and my husband enjoyed the french toast with sausage. I was looking forward to trying the shrimp and grits but they ran out. I hope to try this during my next visit. The wait staff was pleasant and I recommend this restaurant.

Another huge Gluten Free menu that doesn't just have salads and grilled meats. First time I've had fried calamari in 15 years! It was fabulous - plus an asparagus risotto to die for. gluten fee and I'm sure it was dairy free as well. brown rice heaven. Husband ate his usual Steak and was blown away by the mashed potatoes... I had the eggplant cannoli and it was not very good. There were three sides which I did not recognize. One was navy bean, I think, was tolerable. The other looked like spinach did not taste good. The beer was good so I was able to wash it down.
