We stopped in for lunch. There's a menu and window meals. And then you choose and get seated. Thing is- you feel rushed. There's a gigantic menu you can't read and then pictures and you need to order cause its lunch. So, we picked slices- which are massive. But we got an app too. The polenta was solid- but I'd... Upon arrival at LaScala, the red head lady behind the cashier booth was SO rude. She greeted me coldly, "hi how are you." I guess my response wasn't loud enough so she told her colleague in front of me (thinking that I wouldnt hear her). She said, "I said hi to her and she didnt respond back." How unprofessional that... I went to LaScala's with people from work for a holiday dinner. This was the first time visiting and I was not disappointed. The restaurant is located in a central area between the theater district and old city. There is a good sized bar and the restaurant is not cramped lime many in center city where people are shoved against... More

Joined an old friend for dinner on a Fall night around 7:30 in the bar area. It was a very quiet night midweek. I parked in the garage behind the restaurant on 7th north of Chestnut which they will validate. I started with a pint of Yuengling and the Sweet and Spicy Chicken wings with cartelized onions and gorgonzola cheese.... More

If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant, look elsewhere. Mediocre pasta and tasteless veal marsala. We were expecting more and definitely won't return.

I had dinner with a friend whilst on a business trip to Philly. We were seated promptly in a nice spot close to the window. The house wine was both affordable and quite tasty. My friend said that this was a top notch Italian restaurant and the food was fabulous, I thought based on the dish i had (cheese Ravioli... More
