If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant, look elsewhere. Mediocre pasta and tasteless veal marsala. We were expecting more and definitely won't return.

I had dinner with a friend whilst on a business trip to Philly. We were seated promptly in a nice spot close to the window. The house wine was both affordable and quite tasty. My friend said that this was a top notch Italian restaurant and the food was fabulous, I thought based on the dish i had (cheese Ravioli... More

This is the La Scala's on 7th and Chestnut St. We stopped here for a light lunch, had a Ravioli and a baked eggplant. Very nice, price reasonable, and service excellent. Would return.

Our dinner was outstanding. The pasta sauce had to have been home made, full or flavor with an outstanding body. My wife was amazed at the pasta she had. A mistake was made and corrected immediately with no problem. Go here you will NOT be disappointed.

First I want to say I was so looking forward to this restaurant. My waitress asked if I would like anything to drink I stated I would like to have a Bellini. She stated oh we don't make those, where in the city can you get a Bellini? I explained I would think that an Italian restaurant would definitely make... More
