XIX is a very nice romantic restaurant. Reservations were easy as well as parking. When we arrived, we were told we could sit earlier if we wished to be on the balcony. A fantastic suggestion as it was perfect weather and highly romantic. Prices were very reasonable. We had drinks before dinner and the bar was a bit loud but... More

A hidden treasure atop the Bellvue hotel. Reasonable lunch fare in quiet elegant atmosphere. It is easy to have dessert for starters. A full table of pies, chocolate mousse & other delights. Ok they have fruit for the less inclined. Oh, the entrees are delicious & service wonderful if you care about those things

Ate dinner at XIX once many years ago (and it was first rate), but go back often for the bar. The space at the top of the Bellevue is a gorgeous room with tons of charm and character. Enjoy cocktails there in the romantic booths with great views of the city (which looks a lot better at night). Definitely worth... More

Girls weekend in Philly and had such a lovely time at XIX. The food was delicious... Especially the eggs/crab Benedict ... But, never felt rushed... Enjoyed several cups of coffee and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere with friends. Definitely a wonderful place to go for an upscale brunch.

My husband and I stopped for a drink on our way back to our hotel after dinner. Fireplace was roaring in the medieval style bar. Ceiling to floor windows overlooking the sparkling city. Heavenly...

Superb lunch with business colleagues. Service couldn't be bettered, food was great and surroundings of this architecturally beautiful room are 2nd to none. Music a little too loud considering domed shape of the room, but staff did accommodate our request to lower it. Thanks!

after reading a copious amount of reviews I noticed that alot of people ordered 2 or 3 appetizer/starters and shared. I tried google images to get an idea of how big the portions were. One guy in our party ordered the lobster risotto and it was so small he just passed it around for everyone (9 of us) to have... More

Our large party of 10 enjoyed everything about our experience at XIX. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and the venue is really lovely. I have been here several times for dinner in small parties as well with a similar experience. We really did not have a view simply due to the size of our party and where... More

This is a beautiful venue for dinner. Although the views of the city are somewhat obscured by thick drapes, the visible sunset was wonderful. The food was very good, although the portions are not huge. My lake trout was well prepared and tasty. The sorbets and butter pecan ice cream was delicious - definitely made on the premises. The bread... More

We celebrated our anniversary at XIX this past weekend and had a truly fabulous evening. The restaurant is gorgeous, with decor that mixes modern and historic elements in a very sophisticated way. While I didn't notice a dress code when I made our reservation, most of the patrons at XIX seem to understand that this is grown-up dining; very few... More
