Outstanding food but average service - a place certainly worth trying out once

This is a very nice restaurant that was just a few minutes walk from the Sonesta Hotel, where I was staying. We were there during restaurant week, so had a choice of the regular menu or the restaurant week special, which we opted for. That meant we got plates to share of about a dozen different very fancy foods. This... More

Group of 16 dine there just last night. All first timer. Below are honest group opinion: Excellent: 1. French onion soup, caramelized onion and cheese pair just right not as salty as other. must have. 2. pork belly, deep fry done just right not oily and the spicy bring out the taste. Good: 1. sea bass done light not as... More

My husband and I were in the city the week prior to watch a concert. We got a hotel and we were looking forward to spending the night out with no kids. Well, I got the date wrong of the concert and we went back to Philly last night which was the "actual" night of the show lol. Well we... More

Ducked in to inviting looking spot on chilly night after movie. The atmosphere is warm and great background music. Tapas are just right for sharing. Onion soup, not french, but delicious with unusual stock; chicken skewers delicious in savory sauce, crab delicately fried, bread offerings scrumptious. Sangria classically good. Waitstaff attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely return.

We have eaten at other Tapas restaurants several times. First, the waiter was rude and inexperienced at wine serving. I ordered the wine and the waiter presented and poured the wine for my husband. My husband slid me the glass of wine to taste. 0 stars for not knowing the etiquette for wine service. The waiter recommended 3-4 dishes per... More

Visited relatively late on a Friday night and the restaurant was full. The hardest decision was between ordering individual small tapas versus one of the (now three) tasting menus. The lack of a printed list of courses in the tasting menus didn't make this any easier. We realize they may change frequently -- possibly even daily. But other restaurants make... More

During a solo trip in Philly in October, I visited the Garces restaurant Amanda and had a very good experience. Thus on a return trip to Philly with my wife and daughter I decide to try another Garces restaurant, Tinto. In part my wife and daughter had returned from Spain and found great Sangria and Tapas, and online reviews reported... More

We ate here with a group in its upstairs, and were extremely impressed with everything. The staff were very knowledgeable. There was a great wine list, and the food was excellent. We had a broad range of dishes. 14 total (shared, small plates) ranging from arugula salad to wagyu sirloin. There were no bad dishes. I'd recommend this restaurant to... More

My wife and I ate our wedding anniversary (#22) dinner here on October 30, 2015. Excellent. Our server, Meghan, was attentive and pleasant. All of our tapas were delicious. Eat here!
