Three of us spent over two happy hours sampling the tapas and the wine by the glass on a lovely Friday evening. Every dish was delish! Most especially recommend the lamb brochetta and the pulpo, although the brussels sprouts held their own as well. Will return.

Tinto was so highly recommended on TripAdvisor we decided to give it a try. Turns out one of our friends we were meeting works for a sister restaurant, and they took such great care of us! We visited a month ago, and after getting home from vacation there was so much going on I haven't gotten around to writing a... More

I had read rave reviews of this unusual restaurant that features Basque small plates, so I brought a date. My friend and I ordered the chef's tasting menu with matching wine flight. We were disappointed. The flavors were bland or, sometimes, overly spicy to hide the food; the textures were too chewy and unattractive. The wine was ok, but not interesting.... More

My husband and I and our daughter and her friend went here for dinner and drinks during a one night stay in Philly. It was a fun evening with attentive service and way-above-average innovative tapas and "typical" Tapas Bar atmosphere (dark wood and lighting; tall tables and bar chairs). We particularly recommend the duck and blue cheese tapa and the... More

My girlfriend had read some reviews on Tinto which said that it was romantic. I took her for her birthday dinner this weekend and other then the fact that it has low lighting we did not find it to be romantic. It is loud, we sat in un-comfortable high top bar stools even though I had requested a nice table... More

Five of us were on a business trip and our concierge sent us here when we asked for tapas. It did not disappoint. Everything we tried, from meats to veggies, signature cocktails to olives, was delicious. We had such a wonderful time!

We stopped in for some Tapas and wine. The duck confit wrapped in serrano ham is out of this world. Also had great brussel sprouts and heirloom tomato salad. There are so many more to try, we know we will go back.

What a find! My son and I walked here from the Sofitel after studying the TA restaurant reviews of Philadelphia. There was a large selection of restaurants from which to choose, but Tinto looked promising. We were the first ones in the restaurant, but that changed quickly. It was pretty busy for a Monday night. We decided to have the... More

Went for dinner on our 19th anniversary and we were very favorably impressed. the food was excellent. The service was prompt but patient in that we would try one course before we ordered the next so we could take our time and not fill up. Our server was happy to help and gave us great advice on each course.

We cannot visit Philadelphia without a return to Tinto! The excellent tapas are complex in flavor, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; happy to describe the dishes and make recommendations. In this case, we had the chef's tasting menu which was outstanding, but (as another reviewer has noted) be prepared and go hungry! Can't wait... More
