Great Homemade Food

Having see this place featured on DDD, I had to give it a try. There are several different and unique items on the menu, As usual in a situation like this, I ordered too much. I tried the cheesesteak empanadas as well as the lamb meatballs sandwich. I was only able to eat about half of each and... read more

The food was great. We had a short wait but the food was worth it. I would recommend going there. We had the empanada cheesteak truffles, the bread pudding, hush puppies and the mac and cheese. All were very good. I didn't even feel full after eating all that food.

Stayed at the Hilton DoubleTree this weekend and my friend found this place near the hotel. It was on Diners/Drive-Ins/Dives. From the outside it looked like it could be the "dog house" for us choosing it, but it was absolutely gold. Our waitress let us know what they tried on the Triple D episode...you have to have the Truffled Cheesesteak... More

Ate here with the Hubs on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Has a decent beer menu - I have the Brooklyn summer ale. The food menu is bar food, but with a twist. I have a meatball sandwich, but it was made with lamb. Hubs had a steak sandwich, but is was a Korean style spice. Nice crowd of people... More

After leaving the Bellevue, for an after midnight bite at Dandelion Pub, I learnred the kitchen closed. Tria, and The Bards were kindly suggested. Unfortunately, the kitchen had closed. I thought, go home and make a tuna melt, but it would be some time for a train and a stop to pick up my car. Then I remembered the delicious... More

We sat on the second floor and got a table in the bay window with a view of the street. Korean BBQ sandwich was great. Good cocktails and a large craft beer selection.

I love this place. My sister took my my first time and I was hooked. I have been back many times and there are no burgers like the ones you get here.

I was debating on this one when my kids picked it off Yelp, but it turned out to be a winner. The burgers were juicy and done just right, the fries were fantastic. I had a fried tomato BLT that was delicous. They had a large selection of craft beer and the ambience was very neighborly. Felt like home!

The final performance of Lion King on Sunday was fantastic and left us, late afternoon, wanting to hang around Philadelphia a little longer. Our hunger led us to the very convenient Good Dog Bar and, seated at a very comfortable booth, we enjoyed a good craft beer, a delicious meatloaf dinner and a tasty fried tomato BLT. The spaetzel was... More

The Good Dog burger was fantastic! It comes on a brioche bun, stuffed with Roquefort cheese and topped with grilled onions. We added bacon because we felt our cholesterol levels were too low. The burger comes with a mix of regular and sweet potato fries, which were also delicious. The good craft beer selection provides a nice complement to the... More
