A small but cosy place for great chinese food. Food was really sumptuous and enjoyed every bit of it. The quantity was also great. For a single person paying only $12 is really cheap. Definitely a must visit place for every vegeterian. Yes, one of the pure veg places.

The sesame seitan is out of this world! Initially, I thought okay its just another little Chinese place for dinner...at best it will be average, but I was really impressed! There are pages of vegetarian options at this place. It was so hard to choose what to order! As you decide what to order, they bring small cups of jasmine... More

The General Tso's is really all that! My family came for dinner the other night and ordered a little of everything to share. The soy protein steak tasted oddly like fish (I really enjoy fish so I loved it!), the "beef" with broccoli had a great sauce, the As-You-Wish tofu was nicely crisp, and the Triple Shredded in Garlic Sauce... Food wise, this is a typical traditional vegetarian Chinese place. The food is more authentic than the modern "pan Asian" versions, which also means more fried and greasy. That said, the dishes we had were generally higher quality than you would get in one of the Chinatown places. And the decor is definitely more pleasant than in Chinatown, suitable for... More

In the middle of the business day, we looked for a vegan restaurant in the central Philadelphia area. Su Xing House was recommended to us by the hotel concierge. This is a Chinese vegan restaurant. The menu offers an extensive variety of tofu dishes, as well as vegetable dishes. We chose eggplant with tofu in a hot pot and triple... More

On our recent visit to Philly on Christmas Eve, we learned that our favorite veggie Chinese restaurant Singapore had closed. We were in Center City checking out the holiday displays and found Su Xing House on tripadvisor and it turned out to be a couple of blocks away from where we were. What a surprise to find this place in... More

We ate here several times during our visit to Philadelphia. Had different dishes every night and all were very good or better (as with many Chinese restaurants, there is a very large menu to choose from). Spring rolls were excellent. Portions were large and prices reasoable, especially fior a kosher restaurant.

For starters, the menu needs a serious re-write, as it is very difficult to understand the food items by their descriptions; hire a professional! Our waitress was slow and very distant, although correct; not at all the friendly face we would have preferred. But the main disappointment was the food; nothing stood out. We had the hot and sour soup... More

We were visiting Philly & spent to sat sight seeing. we wanted to stay in our hotel & get some Chinese... Su Xing was the answer. They were earlier on delivery when promised. Pretty reasonable prices. The food was delicious! We order sesame seiten with broccoli & brown rice, dumplings & Singapore noodles. Seasame dish was awesome! The noodles seemed... More
