They may not have invented the Philly Cheesesteak, but they have perfected it!

I love Philly Cheesesteaks! They are a simple combination of 3 or 4 ingredients, but when combined in the right amounts, with the right quality, produces an unbelievably satisfying dining experience. I love Philly Cheesesteaks! They are a simple combination of 3 or 4 ingredients, but when combined in the right amounts, with the right quality, produces an unbelievably satisfying dining experience. Former Philly residents who when returning to our old stomping grounds, make a bee-line to Tony Luke's...straight from the airport at 8:00AM !! And there is a line of hungry individuals waiting in the early AM...third shifters and all-night partiers, I guess. Fresh, chewy, tasty rolls w/ cheese steak done just right....and if you want something different (why?), they have an... More

Maybe just not my thing, but I wasn't impressed. I'm from the Midwest and there are quite a few places that have great "cheese steaks" in my area. Much different than the sandwich I got here at Tony Luke's, and I prefer the ones I get at home. The steak was quite tough and difficult to eat, I wasn't a... More

I took my 13 y.o. niece on a road trip and we headed to Philly for a cheesesteak. I gave her a list of the '10-Best' cheesesteak joints (Tony Luke's wasn't on it) and, after she read it, she said, "I've seen that Tony Luke guy on Food Network. Let's go there!" So we did and we were not disappointed.... More

You can't eat a good philly cheese with just one cup. Not worth it. Crazy with the amount of patronage they get they don't offer anything but the sandwich, which is decent at best. The cheese was overdone, not the 'best philly cheese ever' as people say

Forget the tourist traps. This is the best place in town. Also it's right around the corner from all the stadiums!

Stopped by here on a strong suggestion by a family member and I must say it was well worth it. Has to be the best cheesesteak I have ever eaten. The atmosphere, the staff, the food and the whole experience is wonderful. The cheesesteaks are done right, the bread marvelous and would highly recommend it to everyone. I know there... More

Local friends took me to this place that I guess is famous. I should have know but I didnt. Full disclosure: I am not a fan of these cheese steak sandwiches that slop on the cheap cheese and try to end your life early. This place was different. The pork Sandwich was filled with broccoli Rabe and I ordered the... More

Cheese steaks are AMAZING!!! Love their bread and meat! They're spendy but so worth it. Lady behind the counter will bite your head off if you have to make her wait, so be ready to order! Used to live in Jersey- Tried Pat & Ginos...don't even bother... Now that we're living in Oregon, my husband has business trips to Philly-... More

We go to Tony Luke's a lot, and they never disappoint. My personal fave is the Roast Beef as it is tender, very flavorful and their rolls are amazing to the pallette. We also enjoy the Cheesesteaks, Roast Pork and Burger Italiano Sandwiches. They have many other items, but above mentioned are our favorites. Good Location with ample parking and... More
